The front desk staff and management were not helpful after the hotel canceled my reservation. They claimed I canceled it on Expedia, but I showed them my booking and confirmation number. It included free parking and breakfast, but they said none of that was included. The manager Ariana asked for Expedia to call her directly because she claims to have looked up my booking on Expedia and couldn't find anything AFTER I showed her my confirmation information. Then when I had a rep from Expedia on the phone, she wouldn't come out of the back office to help me. The Expedia rep tried calling the number she gave me for the to call, but it kept going to voicemail.
Against my better judgement, we stayed and although the room was okay, it didn't have a mini fridge as the room description stated. We booked an Executive room on the 19th floor with included parking and morning pastry/fruit/coffee. The worker at the coffee shop insisted it was included, but when I went to the front desk to get a voucher, they said it wasn't.
In the middle of the night, expect to hear banging doors, loud screaming, and drunk people throughout the hallways no less than 5-10 times per night between midnight and 3am. Also plan on the housekeeping staff to try to enter your room 1-2 times in the afternoon AFTER it's been made up for no reason! We kept the double lock in place, and when we heard someone entering, it was housekeeping. When I asked if we could help her with something, she said, "Sorry! No, nothing! Do you need anything?" I've never had this happen at any hotel I've ever stayed at. This happened EVERY day!
To top it off, the Union workers were protesting every morning outside the hotel doors with inflatable rats and a fog horn starting at 6am. The convenient location is just not worth it!
