From my perspective the cutting skill and quality are subpar compared to the salons I go to in Tokyo and Hong Kong. The hairstylist had his own taste for what’s good for me. I wanted something different. He was attentive to detail doing his best, but the outcome didn’t meet my expectation. Honestly speaking the salons located in Ginza are just on a totally different level. I haven’t found anything close to that. The cut was always neat and sharp. I never need to fix my hair once it dries naturally. This visit was a total letdown. During the whole time there’s not even a sip of water provided. Every single salon here in Austin at least gives you something to drink while they work on you. Deliver what’s asked is the most important thing. My haircut ended up being the middle ground between what I asked for and what the stylist thought I should get. And it isn’t neat. The reason I choose you and pay you is hoping to get a haircut that I don’t need to work on fixing it myself. I didn’t get that here. I tipped $23 on top of the original price for encouragement. But let’s be honest, I rate this cut 6/10. I don’t like it, and I’m short on time. After all that I have to cut my own hair to fix it. It’s not neat/clean, that really bothers me.

Had the best experience here! Highly recommended. Probably the best haircut I’ve gotten in NY for the value and quality. Mickey was super precise when cutting & blowdrying my hair and gave me an amazing head massage at the shampoo bowl. Can’t say thanks enough. Definitely go see him! Showed him pics of what I wanted and it turned out perfect.
