Garden hosts 3,000 rose bushes with a wide variety of antique roses including garden roses, polyanthas, Chinas, Bourbons, teas, climbers, and Earth-Kind roses. Atmosphere stays peaceful and serene, ideal for quiet strolls and reading. Volunteers and Parks department maintain the space, which includes an adjacent Herb garden.
