Disclaimer: I know I should of been smarter! This will be my last time coming back to Li and Na spa and nail salon. I have always supported this salon and it frustrated me when I came today because I needed help putting on press on nails that I got from the beauty supply store. I did not want to spend money on acrylics or gel x because I only intended on wearing this for one or 2 nights. I could tell that she was getting visibly frustrated mind you there is only two customers in this establishment and it’s currently 10:35 am. The owner was getting annoyed because I asked if she could put the fake nails on. It was $9.99 for the nails that I pursued. I wasn’t expecting the nail manicure to be more than $3-5 considering she was not putting anything on my nails from her store besides cutting around the cuticles. The nail installation was $15 which in my opinion is outrageous when all she did was cut around the cuticle and she used the glue I provided. She told me that if I decided to use her glue it would have been $23 which is still insane. She kept asking me too and I told her I wanted to use my own glue. I do not think she liked that I was saying “No” to anything she asked and I think the $15 price was done out of spite and because it was an inconvenience to her. The entire experience she was talking back and forth with her coworkers when I would say something and overall the entire cost was $46.00 and I did not tip because I felt like she already overcharged me because it was an inconvenience to her. $23 for the pedicure with no polish, $8 with the eyebrows which is usually standard and I guess $15 for the nails which is my own nails. She told me I could add on a polish but I refused but this was after I told her I was upset with the price amount for the nails in general. Regardless this is a lesson learned and will not be coming back. It’s unfortunate because I did like Li and Na and I have heard experiences but I did not expect that to happen to me. Mind you I also told her I would do it myself when I sensed frustration. If I knew it was going to be $15 to install I would of just done it myself. The lady who did my pedicure was nice.
