The Learning Experience - Long Island City

We love TLE LIC! Been to another daycare in the area and this one makes us feel warm and fuzzy.

As a first time mom, going back to work and trusting others to care for my little one was a hard transition. Incredibly thankful for Veronica being so empathetic and helping us get all set up in time for me going back to work. TLE has been nothing short of a blessing. I cannot thank Ms. Elaine enough! She has given me so much reassurance in knowing that my sweet girl is safe, cared for, and is having fun experiences. My daughter adjusted pretty quickly to daycare which I feel was due, in large part, to the warm, loving environment she entered into. I also feel that warmth every day at drop off, which is the peace of mind I need before my work day. Ms. Elaine also has helped us with knowing when our daughter might be ready for XYZ developmentally, which has been really helpful as new parents! Then at pickup, to have Ms. Araceli provide a summary (in addition to all the cute photos/updates throughout the day) of how she did/slept/ate is such a great way to round out the day. I really appreciate the app updates we get throughout the day, the drop in anytime policy, the attention to detail in care…So thankful and looking forward to growing with TLE!

My son attended TLE for three years, and I’m really thankful for the time he spent there. I especially want to thank Ms. Ambar, Ms. Laurry, Ms. Tania, Ms. Luz, and Ms. Monet for being so caring and involved with him. The management team, Ms. Erika and Mr. Richard were always supportive. One of the things I really appreciated about TLE was how flexible they were. They had fewer holidays compared to other places, which honestly made things so much easier for our family. I also liked that we could drop off and pick up our kids right from their classrooms—it felt transparent, and we got to say hello to the teachers and other kids every day. Because of that, we got to know all of my son’s classmates, and by graduation, it felt like we were part of a little community. There were a lot of parent-involved events too, which might feel like a lot at the time, but looking back, I’m glad we got to be part of those moments. They go by fast.
