I loved our stay at Merchant! Despite being in a busy area, our room stayed relatively quiet. The entrance was in an alley street rather than a large bustling street. Rooms were modern and so impeccably clean and whenever we pressed “make up room” our room was appropriately cleaned. The double showers were gorgeous and nicely decorated. Possibly my one and only complaint is the fact that the AC didn’t cool below 70F. Staff were so friendly and accommodating when I needed utensils or bag checked the day we checked out. The handwritten note made it feel like a 5 star hotel experience!!

One of the best hotels to stay at in the Lower East Side. Great location, close to everything, cool bars, good restaurants, you name it. Also close to the subway. Great views from their rooftop bar as well. Awesome and friendly staff makes this hotel a must stay when visiting New York. Will definitely stay there again.
