Yakuni is one of my favorite bars in NYC. The bartender Jed is so talented and has great insight on the sake and shochu that they serve. The cocktails are also outstanding- I highly recommend the matcha cocktail as well as the Cameron obscura and Jed's Dead. The live vinyl combined with the ambiance of the space gives a calm and cool vibe. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a chill speakeasy that has craft cocktails and good energy.

Nice environment, but the drinks need work. My Negroni was about one-third full and that was with ice in it. For about $25, it should be a proper drink.

Glad we got to check out Masa Sans newest space! Like each of his spaces, it’s a smaller bar space, only one bartender, but an absolute vibe. Ben was awesome and took care of us. The cocktails we got were next level and we would absolutely be back here again. It honestly felt like we stumbled into a bar in a Yokocho in Japan.
