Form50 is such a supportive and great environment! A great space in the Midtown fitness community. The class: if you’re familiar with SLT, Solidcore, or Bodyrok, Form50 is similar in terms of the machine and the exercises but with its own twists. I will say, there is often a lot of heavy work at the back of the machine and for this reason the standard format is more challenging than the other brands, even if you are already quite fit. I did not take the Intro classes but think it could be helpful if you are completely new to this kind of workout. The studio is beautiful, clean, and SPACIOUS—you can wash your face and change after class without feeling like you’re in the way. Mostly, the people who work at the front desk are absolutely the friendliest of any fitness studio I have been to in NYC, and so going to the studio is always fun.

I can’t recommend this studio enough! The workouts are incredibly effective and always feel fresh, no two classes are the same. The studio itself is spotless and has such an uplifting energy the moment you walk in. Each instructor brings their own unique teaching style, yet there’s a consistency in how the classes flow that makes it easy to follow and keeps you motivated. The programming is thoughtful, challenging, and adaptable whether you’re a beginner or more advanced. FORM50 has truly raised the bar for Pilates-inspired fitness, and I always leave feeling stronger, more centered, and excited to come back.
