I’ve been to gyms all over the city and consider myself an eclectic athlete, Hit House opened up a whole new world for me. The workout is unique, they have patented bags and experienced but kind instructors to make the art of 8 limbs accessible to anyone. The gym itself is sleek and clean, with towels, water station, showers with soap (not just the discount kind, but actual nice stuff for hair, body and face), so it’s easy to go after or before work and do your routine. They sell kick boxing gloves at a reasonable price and they are quality material. You will sweat your butt off but feel strong mentally and physically afterwards. Lastly, the owners are a lovely couple so it feels great to support a local business.

Fun class when the AC was functional. Unfortunately the last time I took a class on a 90 degree day, the AC broke. The lack of fresh air and 12 people sweating in such a condition was horrific and honestly not safe. I would have appreciated a heads up before the class but there wasn’t.
