Flights of Fancy Restaurant

We really want to like this place but we just can’t. We came here when they first opened and were very unimpressed, figured we should give it a second try six months later and we are just as unimpressed as the first time. The biggest problem with this place is the food. The food is so underwhelming and bland for the hefty price you pay. Most people are willing to pay a bit more for a great meal, but this place unfortunately doesn’t deliver in the food aspect. We also had to ask our server multiple times for the basics. But, I will say that the staff was at least pleasant. It’s such a bummer because the flight concept is pretty cool and the area really needs a good reliable restaurant but unfortunately this place really misses the mark.

Full disclosure: I am a friend of one of the co-owners. I was blown away. Everything fits together so well. The food is excellent, the theme honors the nearby airport. This is a restaurant that Waterford Twp should be proud of. Enjoy the punny Easter eggs throughout the menu. The beer menu is balanced and the cocktail selection is fun. Finally, I'm amazed at the price for the value. I don't eat pork or beef and it was super easy navigating the menu around my dietary restrictions.
