Absolutely Horrible Experience – Avoid Aviad and Bar at All Costs I have never experienced such unprofessional and unethical behavior in all my years using Airbnb. This was part of a booking I was included in, which was handled and booked by my friend — but I witnessed the entire experience firsthand. We had a reservation that clearly stated free cancellation until 3 PM. My friend attempted to cancel well before the deadline, at 10 AM, yet was offered zero refund. This all happened while Israel is in a state of emergency, with flights canceled and the country under serious threat. We reached out to Aviad and Bar multiple times to explain the situation and request a fair resolution. Instead of replying, they ignored us completely — and even blocked my friend’s phone number to avoid having to deal with us. If a host feels comfortable blocking a guest during a crisis, imagine how unsafe and unprofessional it would be if something serious happened during your stay. Their behavior is not just dishonest — it’s dangerous. They took full advantage of technicalities and small-print policies during an emergency, showing zero empathy or accountability. This felt like outright theft, and they made no effort to do the right thing. Be extremely cautious if you’re thinking of booking with them. Hosts like this can ruin your trip and leave you completely stranded when you need help most.

A cute apartment in the best possible location, one minute from the Carmel market and five minutes from the sea. Life is fun to have parking. A pleasant and quiet street. Everything is close. The apartment is comfortable and clean. Maintenance needs a lot of attention. An explosion in the pipe in the kitchen, a blockage in the shower, the electrical devices that do not work such as an oven and dryer. Potential for perfection if the general maintenance is given more careful consideration. In terms of the answer, he was cordial but sometimes it took a long time for them to answer when a quick answer was needed.
