I had high expectations after reading multiple positive reviews, so I was disappointed not to be able to give 5 stars. The gluten free menu only works if you don't have other intolerances and like halloumi and spinach. I ended up building my own breakfast. 2 rashers of bacon 1 poached egg 2 halves of tomato 1 portion baked beans (looked like 1/2 portion) 1 slice gluten-free bread (toasted) How much do you think that ought to cost? Now, I know I'm a Yorkshire lass and this cafe is in Bournemouth, but £8.50... that's a bit steep and worthy of an "'Ow much?" Everything about the Olive Cafe is distinctly average. For me personally, charging prices like £8.50 for a barely there breakfast is a bit cheeky. Either improve the quality and portion size or reduce the amount you charge.

Absolutely loved all the dishes we chose. Very good portion sizes and delicious freshly cooked food. Staff were very helpful and accommodating of our coeliac and other specific requirements. My wife and I had a fantastic experience here! The food was absolutley delicious, everything was very fresh and served to order and the chef went above and beyond to ensure my wife who is also Coeliac was able to enjoy a range of foods also. Would highly recommend!

It was a really pleasant experience at Funki Griller, they do have glutenfree options as well. I tried the Pork Belly and Fillet as well as choco brownie and all was very exquisit (gosh the fries were soooooo good, super hot and crispy which I love plus they are made in a separate fryer). Tasted awesome and was worth the price. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere quite cosy as well. Can definitely recommend! In terms of improvements, my friends were having the cheese cake and in comparison to other places that do cheesecake it didn't blew them away (very dense, not super fluffy). I was also sad that they couldn't tell if the hot choco was GF or not. If these could be improved, it would be great! Otherwise really good place, definitely recommend giving it a try!

Genuinely the best burgers I have ever had, along with the most banging shakes. The one with peanut butter and bourbon is to die for. I am particularly enthused by their gluten free buns and good detailing of allergens. They also have a brilliant lunch deal :) Would very much recommend!!
