I'm confused went miles out of my way after reading reviews about the gluten free options got sat down to be told no fish and chips only poached fish and jacket potato so where is the extensive gluten free options absolute waste of time Coeliacs should keep on driving past never recommend

We were served by Jacob and Anna this morning. We both had a large latte and my husband had a toasted teacakes. I asked for and got a gluten free scone with butter. Jacob was very knowledgeable about Coeliac disease as his Mum has it so made sure himself that my gluten free scone was perfect for me. Will definitely go there again next time we are in Lincoln.

Visited Slow Rise today for the first time and had a cracking experience, great pizza , great beer and cracking vibe. Cheers Becca for looking after us.
Just be aware if you are wanting gluten free bases, they require 24 hour heads up. (We got lucky today as they had a few spare, cheers for sorting us out)
And yes, slow rise is vegetarian . They don’t hide that fact… it’s all over the menu and website. If you’re someone who is going to complain due to this … then I imagine they don’t really want your custom anyway

I’m allergic to gluten and they catered incredibly to my allergy!! we had Anya as our server both times we came in here and she and all the other staff were so approachable and sweet, not to mention the food was the best gluten free food (including dessert!) i’ve ever eaten and the cocktails were to die for! Incredible music and such fast and kind service. Best place for date night 💛
