The gluten free fish with the fish and chips were awesome.
The service for Scotland and UK, has been better, than we have experienced elsewhere; however, they forgot to bring us our tea, and no one ever came to see how our meal was or if we wanted anything else, until it was time for the bill. We got our tea, after they brought our check, which we quickly drank as they didn't have a take away cups.
Restaurants should consider going to a tip system for wait staff to improve service for the customers.

Had a nice dinner at the restaurant in the hotel; we walked in and we needed the bar staff to direct us to the restaurant which was actually in a back room that you can’t see from the front door. I had a venison burger however it was missing most of the toppings, but it was still a good meal. I also had cranachan here for the first time and despite how simple of a dessert it is, it was very yummy! The servers were very kind and accommodating of my sister’s gluten free requirements.

We stumbled across this restaurant on its opening night of the season (April 2025). What a superb place. The fish was so fresh, staff couldn’t do more for you and it was a thoroughly wonderful experience. Our daughter is coeliac and most options were gluten free already but she was well catered for.
