this was nothing short of a phenomenal experience. To preface, Im cross contamination allergic to gluten & no longer plant based after being so for 7+ years and I know in going to think about this sandwich every single day. I got the chickpea tuna sandwich on gluten free bread. The woman taking my order asked me if I needed a dedicated GF toaster before I could even ask her if they have one and YES THEY DO. they seem to be very knowledgeable and clearly care about dietary restrictions which is so refreshing as I believe this is hard to find in the city. When the sandwich was ready, again before I even had time to ask she assured me that it was gluten free bread. I mean WOW. to someone who doesn’t have the restrictions I do, this might not seem like a big deal but those of you that know, KNOW how incredible this made me feel. And to top it off the sandwich was so tasty.

We are visiting from Nashville TN and this place is BUSSSSSSSSIN. We went here 3 times during our 9 day visit and may end up returning before it's up. The vegetable pho is great because it comes with tofu and there’s lots of bok choi, peas, and mushrooms. I love the fibre boost. And you can get it with any broth (I liked beef > chicken).
It’s a great spot for gluten free friendly food. Good prices for pho.

Upon entering, one already feels the nostalgia of such an iconic place. The atmosphere, the smells, the people.
I tried their famous BAGEL (everything) with plain cream cheese, Gaspe Nova salmon ($17) and I added tomato ($.50) and red onion ($0.50). SPECTACULAR!
It may seem like a lot for a “simple” bagel but believe me, it is so worth it!
They also have gluten-free bagel and vegan cream cheese options!
