What a lovely experience, great service, lovely wine and cocktails and the food was amazing. I am celiac and am often limited on what's on offer, but the staff were knowledgeable and there were so many great options. We will definitely return on our next trip to Edinburgh

Incredible! So tasty! I had the wonton, laksa and sweet potato deep fried balls with chocolate icecream, it was all delicious. Highly recommended for everyone, vegans and nonvegans. They have a separate gluten free menu. The ladies working there are absolutely lovely. Will definitely come again.

Good choices for Gluten free options 👍 only gripe is that despite ordering at the till for takeaway the last 3 times they've got my order wrong and I've had to wait to collect another- I should really check before leaving ! Generally they have provided tasty and well liked food by our family- most as non gluten free and have no complaints.

Food here is just brilliant. I had the Thai red curry. As a coeliac, their gluten free food options are excellent. I was also served by Adarsh who would extremely accommodating and pleasant mannered. Very welcoming on arrival and knowledgable of the gluten free options. (Was too hungry to take a before pic, so here’s the aftermath)

Nice vibe, friendly staff, and good sushi. Prices are reasonable. Recommended for gluten-free (including Coeliac) as there's a good range of options. I got takeout and there was an issue in that I was given regular soy, not gluten-free (individually packed, so no cross-contamination risk), and it wasn't clear from the receipt that the order as a whole was indeed gluten-free. I called them and staff were helpful and reassuring that indeed everything was in order, and the soy was just an oversight when packing the bags. They were correct: everything did prove to have been gluten-free as intended.

If you are looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant Actually run by Japanese people then you have found the place. I am a Japanese speaker and have been to Japan four times and coming here felt like home. I was able to order in Japanese and eat food that I enjoyed in Japan that tasted like the food that I enjoyed in Japan. The staff is incredibly kind and even offered us an extra treat during our meal. The okonomiyaki was so delicious! And there were so many options for people with different dietary needs. They even had a gluten-free and vegan okonomiyaki. We also found the sushi to be really fresh. In particular we were all really impressed with the salmon nigiri. My friends also said that the kariage was better than a lot of the other restaurants nearby. Some previous reviews said that this restaurant was tied to Maki Ramen and other Edinburgh tuitions and I don’t see the resemblance at all. I’ve only had the vegetarian options at those restaurants but, although I loved them, they didn’t seem nearly as authentic as the food I had here. 日本人のお客様、このレストランは日本人のオーナーがいますから、心配しないで本当の和食を食べられます。大阪で食べるみたいなお好み焼きがあります。本当に美味しいです。

I love this place. They’re waiters are lovely, the music is great and the whole vibe is fun. The menu is massive and great if you are vegetarian as you can sub most meat for tofu and vice versa. Similarly, loads of gluten free options. Only downsides - you often have to queue, their flavoured negroni is a bit too strong on the lemongrass/ lychee and you have to pay for rice separately which always puts me off the curry
