Can accommodate gluten free requirements and there are a lot of options. Authentic/delicious Thai food, may have been the best in this area! I have been here for dozens of times, never had a dish that was bad!

Conveniently located right off the highway, Mikuni Folsom has been a go-to sushi spot for years, known for its fresh ingredients, creative rolls, and lively atmosphere. Whether you're stopping by for their Meal for 2 deal, taking advantage of happy hour specials, or indulging in a sushi feast, there’s always something to love.
Start with the Tempura Green Beans—crispy, flavorful, and highly addictive. The BBQ White Tuna is smoky and tender, while the Freaky Edamame adds a fun twist to a classic favorite. They also offer gluten-free and vegetarian options, making it an easy choice for all dietary preferences.
For something light but bold, the Albacore Pepperfin is a standout, with thinly sliced albacore tuna, citrus soy dressing, and jalapeños, delivering just the right amount of heat and acidity. If you love spice, the Spicy Combo (BBQ White Tuna, Spicy Tuna Roll, Midtown Roll) brings a perfect balance of heat and texture.
For something more indulgent, the Annie Roll and Incredible Roll are both must-tries, packed with spicy tuna, panko shrimp, avocado, fresh fish, and a torch-seared finish. The layers of flavor and texture make each bite unforgettable.
Mikuni is a staple in Folsom’s food scene, and while it can get busy during peak times, the wait is never too long and always worth it. Whether you're a longtime regular or visiting for the first time, you'll leave already planning your next trip back.
A lively spot with a spacious, light-filled ambiance, known for its efficient service and a bit of a wait during peak hours.

The atmosphere was lovely. Open, light and spacious. We went for lunch and there wasn’t a wait early, but by the time we left there was a ten minute wait for tables.
The server was polite and efficient and other staff were also attentive.
We shared four dishes and they were all fantastic.
Pork fried rice was good. The Szchuan Garden with shrimp was spicy and delicious. Cashew chicken was flavorful (the chicken is lightly breaded, so be sure to ask, if you have gluten intolerance) and the Kung Pao chicken was very flavorful with a nice kick!
We will definitely eat there again.
The price was a little high, but within range of any good restaurant these days.
Got planty of healthy choices, especially for gluten free. My favorite is the bam mi chicken sandwich. Fast service which is great for us with our two kids!
We go there at the least once a week and it is always consistently good.

I just love this place. I wear stretchy pants and don't eat breakfast to do the all you can eat lunch. I am a huge fan of the salmon and smoke salmon nigiri here - like butter, good quality. They have gluten free soy sauce/tamari and accommodate my allergies. My coworkers enjoy the more artistically composed rolls that I am allergic to. The all you can eat menu is well-rounded for sushi compared to other places. They also have vegan/veggie sushi options on the full menu.
You can order 5 items at a time so I am strategic about getting that order in so that it comes out promptly when I'm done with the previous 5 (serious sushiage!). I can put down what would be $100 of sushi off the menu so the all you can eat is totally worth it. Price has gone up over the years from about $16 now to $18 and change. Some of our more delicate flowers won't eat enough to justify all you can eat. Assess the value if you possess self-control or a tiny tummy.
Service has improved. It's never been bad but we've been in where it felt a little slow. Last time I was in on a Friday for lunch and got in before the Intel table of 15 (yikes!). Service was fast and we were never lacking food or drink refills.

This place is delicious. I love coming in for lunch when I'm craving Thai food. Always full of flavor. Good portions. They can accommodate my gluten/dairy allergies.
