This is one of my go-to Thai restaurants. The staff is friendly, attentive, and the service is efficient. The food is absolutely delicious, and they have options for those with gluten and dairy intolerances. The outdoor dining area is lovely, and they even have heaters for colder days. Overall, it's a great place to dine.
Experience vibrant flavors and a lively atmosphere, with patrons relishing every bite and enjoying great conversations in a bustling setting.

This is gourmet Thai food.
Fresh ingredients make the food extra flavorful so even staple Thai dishes are next level delicious and popping with freshness and flavor.
The wait staff are very polite and knowledgeable about which dishes can accommodate people who have Celiac Disease as well as people with lactose intolerance.
People clearly know this place is good because there was a bit of a wait on Saturday night and it was jam packed. Every table seemed to be enjoying themselves and having great conversations which did make it quite loud.
Amazing food quality for the price we will definitely return soon! One lady was running the whole show taking orders while cooking. Service was fast and friendly. Gluten free and vegetarian options.
Super friendly wait staff. Very accommodating to allergies. They have gluten free soy sauce and will substitute for real crab. Sashimi is always fresh.
Fresh, melt-in-your-mouth sashimi with large pieces and tasty rolls make this spot a must-visit for sushi lovers!

Sushi Arashi was excellent. Our sushi rolls were tasty and everything was the freshest!! I also had salmon sashimi and the pieces were large and melted in you mouth like butter. Their sushi rice is made gluten free style, which for me, is a most as I have celiacs. Can’t wait to go back and eat in next time!!!
As a flight attendant, I always look forward to coming through San Jose for the Udon Soup at Sushi Boat. The offer a Soba (buckwheat) noodle option for those of us who are gluten free. Delicious!
Savor top-notch, surprisingly delicious dishes in an unassuming shopping center, with many more tempting menu items to explore!

We had the beef in rice crepes, sea bass, tea smoked duck and chocolate bomba. Everything was perfection! Surprisingly delicious, high end food in this unassuming shopping center. There are so many more menu items we can’t wait to try! Will be back friends! Excellent gluten free options!
Almaden Sushi is our go to place. Always fresh and clean, amazing staff, and gluten free soy sauce. I’ve tried lots of SJ sushi places and this is the best especially for the crazy roll.
Experience a lively vibe with affordable prices and great salmon dishes, but be ready for a wait during peak dinner hours.

Wait time could be up to 1 hour to almost 2 for dinner hours. After an hour probably check in with staff. Price was super affordable per plate at 3.90. Also had more expensive items. Recommend the salmon skin and salmon plates. Lots of Gluten free GF options available and marked on website.
Experience a cozy gem in Japantown where you can enjoy a variety of authentic sushi and delicious Japanese dishes, but arrive early to beat the weekend crowd!

Authentic Japanese food in Japantown.
I always order their Sushi Boat B tray which has the best variety of sushi including toro, amaebi, ikura, and other assorted sushi at one of the best prices that I know of.
In the pictures, we always have unagi, California roll, and ikura separate because we have someone with a gluten allergy.
I love their takoyaki and okonomiyaki, so you have to try at least one!
Udons are great and bentos also.
Their restaurant is quite small so come before they open or you’ll probably have to wait as there is a line on the weekends and even at opening time. So I usually order takeout and they usually put in a nice sushi tray as seen in the pics.
We LOVE this place. The fish is fresh and the rice is warm and has its own personality. They are very accommodating to my wife's allergy (both gluten and soy) and to my need to have lemon with everything I eat. Emily and Min are amazing and attentive, and they always takes care of us when my wife and I show up. Absolutely recommend the Gail Roll and the Catherine Roll. The Hamachi Kamikaze is great, too, along with the Alaska Roll. Huge fans.

Allergen friendly menu, quite a few gluten free options including couple of starters. Nice ambience and good service. Plenty of parking available in the building. Lunch menu is available and the service is quick. Does get busy on weekdays around lunch.

Thanks for making gluten free options! I had assumed all Thai was gluten free but they informed me that places put soy sauce in their green and red curries. They do make special gluten free but it's more labor.
The red curry was delicious. It was enough for two so could have shared but instead took it home. I'll be back to try the other gluten free options since they are well aware!
