Waited 50 minutes past reservation time to be seated. Ordered beef and shrimp pad thai. Got order with 3 small dried up pieces of beef and objects that looked breaded, maybe tofu, and no shrimp. The waitress didn’t seem to know what these pieces were but said they must be gluten free because they were in a red dish. Wow. So then the correct order came. In the past these noodles were covered in a brown peanut butter like sauce. Chef must have forgot to add the sauce as the noodles were white and had no peanut butter flavor at all. On top the service was bad, waitress never checked to see if everything was good and i needed a busbuy to chase her down and replace my meal. No apologies. By the time i got the correct order my wife was done eating. Then we weren’t even offered desert. Pei Wei for me in future.
If you have food sensitivities read this.
We sat at Hibachi.
My wife is gluten free and allergic to fish. She is always very embarrassed when we go out to eat and she has to ask for accommodations however, tonight she was trying to just speak plainly and get her food. She asked to have her meal prepared in the kitchen so they could accommodate the allergies and sensitivities. Our chef, "white rice" was great. And the food was good (too small of portions though. I left hungry) but my wife did not receive her meal until AFTER everyone else had eaten and the chef had clean the grill and left. When it came it had shrimp on it. My wife mentioned she can't eat the shrimp to which the waiter claimed "you never told me!" YES, she did tell you. Anyway, after making my wife feel even more embarrassed about her food allergies they bring the check before they have fixed the problem and brought my wife her food. And yes they were expecting me to still pay full price. Luckily I had a nice woman at our table fight for us to get a small discount based on the service.
If you have food allergies. Do not go here! Not worth the struggle. Not worth your money.
Oh also, they only refilled my water once during the meal and my glass was empty for 30 min.

If you want the best Thai, Vietnamese, Dimsum in Ft Myers look no further than Alan Xang. The food is scratch and cooked with love. I don’t meet many restaurant owners that care about the guest experience as much as Lavina and Rafael do. Delicious food, mouth popping boba drinks, awesome sushi and vegetables that are always cooked just right. Crunch but not raw. Any kind of noodle you want. Vegan or gluten free. Many meat protein options. GO check ‘em out.
Experience a family-owned gem with a stylish vibe and a diverse menu that showcases both traditional and modern takes on Thai cuisine and sushi.

I absolutely cannot say enough great things about this family owned Thai and Sushi restaurant located in Fort Myers, Florida. The service is always outstanding, and the team provides guests with just the right amount of attention. They are also very accommodating to dietary needs. Plant based, gluten free, dairy free, and so on…Bangkok Thai will make it happen, and with a smile. The restaurant is always clean, and has pleasant interior design elements. Bangkok Thai is Southwest Florida’s BEST Thai food restaurant. That is the opinion of my wife and I. Restaurant Owner and Chef Bon Poompana creates amazing traditional Thai food, adding in a touch of his modern creativity and variety whenever he can. Now that Bangkok Thai has elevated its menu, and has expanded into the sushi realm, Chef Bon (A very talented sushi chef) has another culinary outlet to express his sophisticated palate and style. We usually go during dinner hours, but the restaurant offer nice lunch specials. My personal favorite soup is Tom Kha, and I enjoy the papaya salad. When it comes to curry, the Massaman is SUPER! So good-I’ve had it at least 25 different occasions and it never disappoints. The Drunken Noodles are also amazing, alongside every stir-fried dish. The sushi…Chef Bon does it right! The different food items at the sushi bar are always fresh and tasty. Go try it all! Enjoy!!

Great ambiance, even though this place was swamped with guests. My wife and I sat at the bar to watch the chefs make magic. The fish was all very fresh, and they know how to make a great roll! She has celiac, and they were super accommodating to make sure she didn't get gluten'd. We had given up on the sushi scene here in Fort Myers till now. It was great to interact with the chefs and joke around. My wife even likes the hot sake, which she normally does not, so great choice! To top it off, we were able to get in without a reservation on a Friday (it is summer, so I can't imagine this place in season). Thanks for the great meal!

Reservations are a must for this delicious dining experience.
Every dish was presented in a visually pleasing manner and the portions were quite generous. Everything was fresh and delicious.
Many menu items can be made gluten free. Happy hour drinks were available until 6PM. Salads, sushi, poke bowls, tacos, plus a wide variety of beef and chicken options accompany the fresh seafood items.
Our servers were very attentive and service was prompt.
The fun atmosphere consists of 1970’s music videos broadcast on multiple screens placed among modern eclectic decor.
It’s a wonderful location and suits the special occasion or just a way to make any day special.
I absolutely love the food here! I could eat their pho everyday and be happy. Also their pineapple sauce is amazing! I've spoken to the owners and staff and they've all been knowledgeable and helpful regarding my gluten allergy. I'll be eating here frequently.

Personally this is my favorite sushi place around here. They are always consistent in providing good quality and fresh sushi (basically the main thing I personally get here). My boyfriend is able to eat more than I can do to my dietary restrictions and everything he has ever gotten here is great! I can defiantly be a food critic seeing as I worked in a restaurant for a long time but me and my boyfriend never have anything to complain about here and if we do it is handled on the spot by the manager or employees right away (whom are very friendly and helpful). I also would like to mention I am gluten free and they ALWAYS cater to my needs and any changes/exceptions that need to be made to my meal so it is safe for me to eat! which as anyone else who is GF or dietary issue/restrictions knows it is extremely appreciated when a restaurant is considerate of that.
Big bowls of flavorful miso kimchi broth and perfect rice noodles make this a must-visit ramen spot for locals!

I'm not even done eating yet and I'm posting. This will absolutely be my go to ramen spot. My girl is vegan and I'm gluten free and we just had these big old bowls of ramen. The miso kimchi broth is everything and the rice noodles are perfect. Well done!! I'm so happy this is by my house!
