I can’t say enough great things about this lovely place :) The food is amazing, but I think what really makes this place special is the staff. Everyone is so warm and kind, the service is excellent and on the two occasions I’ve been in the staff was very accommodating and sweet in helping me navigate the gluten free options. I’m so happy this gem is a short walk from me because I plan on visiting often!

A fantastic ambiance with EXCELLENT sushi! I am a big Sashimi person, but I decided to get some rolls instead this visit and I was very pleased! We loved the music, staff, overall vibe, and the accommodations for my gluten allergy. I highly recommend getting on the wait-list, or making a reservation before enjoy a delightful meal!

Great place for ramen. The prices are good and the portions were the perfect size. I received very warm, friendly, and quick service. This was my first time here and the staff were very patient and helpful so I was able to order the type of ramen I was craving. I love trying new dishes so I decided to add gluten friendly noodles and tofu to the pork ramen. The broth was delicious and flavorful. Its hard to pick my favorite part of the ramen but I think it’s important to say that the gluten friendly noodles are the best I’ve ever tried. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Hope to come back again soon

Thai Haven (the new name) Under new ownership, Thai Haven is now run by TK, who has Thai heritage and a deep understanding of the cuisine. As someone who frequently travels to Thailand, this restaurant truly captures the essence of Bangkok's street food. I ordered the Pad Thai with extra spice, while my partner enjoyed the vegetarian and gluten-free version. The food was excellent, and we were even treated to a complimentary spring roll appetizer. What truly made our experience memorable were the friendly and helpful staff, both of whom were native to Thailand and had a delightful attitude. Despite living in Chicago for years, there were no language barriers. It was a pleasure to converse with them in my limited Thai. We plan on returning often for the fantastic food, reasonable prices, and outstanding service.

The atmosphere of this place is 10/10! I loved the tiki bar / sushi vibes. It was cozy and inviting. They have a huge gluten free selection for food. The drink menu was great too. Everything was very aesthetically pleasing and tasty.

Wakamono Sushi was outstanding! Being gluten free, I was able to enjoy an amazing night out with friends, and didn’t worry about cross contamination. The servers were GF educated, and they even made some items special without gluten. On top of all this, the sushi was incredible. Try the Spicy Scallops and the Spicy Trio. Amazing, I’m definitely coming back 🥳

Best pho around for sure, and I've tried several in town. Not to mention a lot of gluten free stuff. My order is veggie pho with a veggie spring roll. I crave it several times a week. I used to work there and can attest they make a lot of items from scratch.
