Absolutely incredible gem of a restaurant in the area. Their gluten free options are second to none. I had the gluten free Mongolian beef and gluten free crab rangoons. Outside of being the best gluten free Chinese I've ever had, it was some of the best Chinese I've had period. I'm so glad we found them. Thanks for such a wonderful meal!
With a focus on expert knowledge in safe dining, this standout spot impresses fans as a top choice for Thai cuisine.

I was diagnosed with Celiacs last year and they are so knowledgeable about what dishes can/cannot be made gluten free. I’ve never had gluten cross contamination and this is pretty much the only place I get food from now that I don’t have to worry about. Despite that, this has been my favorite Thai restaurant I’ve ever eaten at!
A cozy spot where first-timers rave about the incredible dishes and a delightful, memorable experience awaits.

I so enjoyed my first time at this restaurant! They made sure my dishes were gluten free and the service was wonderful. The food is beyond amazing and a delightful time was had by all. Thank you Pad Thai Restaurant!

If you can overcome the cognitive dissonance that arises from paying $50/pp to cook your own food, this place is good-ish. It's good in class. I'll elaborate:
Grill it yourself style restaurants appear somewhat uncommonly in the Midwest. They are more common on the coasts, while often couched in the aura of Korean or Mongolian or whatever. To like this place, you must be comfortable with the idea you are paying for the novelty of the experience. My 11 year old is; I would prefer to pay someone else to cook my food when I eat out. Moving past that notion.
For what it is, and in comparison with similar style restaurants, I had the following observations:
1) The beef dishes lacked enough flavor distinction to make higher quality cuts shine. My wife preferred the chuck to the ribeye simply because it was easier to manipulate with tongs and did not taste bad comparatively;
2) The pork belly preparation was underwhelming when it could have been the star of the show. I wouldnhave preferred a cured element or a smoked element to make the cut shine rather than taste like thin pork chops;
3) Sides and accouterments are the real sleeper-crowd-pleasers here. The fried calamari - lovely. The gyoza - yum!
4) What joker said the smores were their favorite? Really?! It was literally a basic smore. A novel idea executed with basic effort.
This place is great for a fun night out, or a more social-food setting - office happy hour, get to know you date night, birthdays, or anything involving pre-teens. I don't think it offers a particularly great value for what you actually get, but that is not uncommon for this type of restaurant. The manager told us an all-you-can eat option is coming soon, which is more in line with similar spots on the West Coast. Frankly, I didn't think it was necessary, as we were all very content with the quantity of food we ordered. The all-you-can-eat model would be a better sell for some folks at this price point, at least creating the illusion of good value.
They offer some chicken options, some seafood options, and you can make it through gluten free, excepting miso soup (which was a bit overly salty).
Ambiance was fine, but nothing special. Table service was fine; the manager was exceptional - attentive, friendly, on-it.
In summary, the food is good-ish and the experience is fun, if you are into this sort of thing. I think at this price point there is many better Japanese restaurants in the area, and I'm pretty sure they will even cook the food for you.

Delicious ramen! They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy and made me a separate broth and used rice noodles and brought me GF soy sauce. Self serve condiment bar is a nice touch. Clean space and good service too!

After years of not going after accepting that I had to eliminate gluten from my diet I tried BD's when some friends visited and wanted to go. They now have GF labels on all ingredients and will cook any food on request in a clean pan in the kitchen instead of on the shared grill. Years ago their allergen protocol was good-intentioned but weak. Now it's been nicely redone. The food is literally what you make if it, which was always kind of fun. However it's also still not a solid value for the meal. Have a mindset of "I am paying for the experience" and the pricing makes more sense.

I am gluten intolerant, and was impressed with the options available. Obviously there is potential for cross contamination with the sauce bar or grilling on the BBQ pit but the hot pot was awesome and had plenty of food options!

The lunch buffet was good and fairly priced. There was a variety of appetizers, curries, rice and naan, desserts, and it included chai and mango lassi. Our server was knowledgeable about gluten free options.

I loved the gluten free noodle ramen and my family enjoyed their meals too and the ambience is fun! I do have a gluten free allergy though and wasn’t able to get much help or guidance on what was or wasn’t gluten free for sure. Otherwise we loved it!

My partner and I tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday evening and it was so good. We got the Pad Kee Mao and the Pad Thai and it was exceptionally good (they even offered to make the Pad Kee Mao gluten free for my partner so we could share). I also got the Mai Thai which was delicious. Our server was so positive and friendly I could have talked with her for hours but the other servers also went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating to the other guests. I will me coming back!

I order lunch from here several times and it is always so good! My go-to is the cashew chicken, but the pad Thai and curries are great as well. I love that they are able to accommodate my gluten free requests. I highly recommend!!

Owner made up for my unfortunate experience with the veggie bowl.
I am looking forward to finding out if I am able to have the tofu made gluten free as this would open up an accessable catering option for my work nearby.
I walked the mile to give it a try after work today.

So few Indian restaurants offer dairy and gluten-free options. So few make the food up fresh. This is what you get at Touch of Asia and why we frequent Touch of Asia so regularly. If the pakoras were made to order, this restaurant would earn a 5-star food review from me. In KC, reheated pakoras are the norm that this restaurant follows along with.

The staff were professional and friendly. Fun atmosphere. Handicap parking at store front. When I asked what type of cuisine they serve I was told authentic Asian. It seemed authentic to me though I was born and raised in the Midwest and never traveled to Asia so I can't say from personal experience. I had the Kimchi rice noodles. They told me it's spicy and asked if I like it hot. I told them I do and it was actually spicy, which I appreciate. I have been to other international cuisine restaurants where I feel like they toned down the spiciness because I am Caucasian and I was disappointed because it wasn't hot. Not the case here. I didn't ask if the rice noodles are gluten free but most are and this is probably an option for those who want gluten free dish.
I eat here when friends or family who can't have gluten or certain spices want Chinese food. Service is good. Food is better than average. The staff is always happy to accommodate dietary restrictions. The menu is good and fairly diverse.
