The food is sooo delicious. 😋 I just discovered their gluten free Calamari, dredged in chickpeas. Soooo yum. 😋 Everything I have eaten here has been wonderful. And the service matches the food. 💕

Fantastic Indian restaurant! I have gluten dairy and soy allergies and they were very accommodating and knowledgeable of what was safe for me. And it was delicious.

My kids loved the food here. I am gluten free and they were super helpful with my order to make sure I ordered what I can eat. The food and service were awesome and I would highly recommend!

WOW! They have a gluten free menu as well as several vegetarian and vegan options. We ordered the yellow beef curry and the green curry chicken. Both were gluten free and out of this world. So full of flavor and the perfect amount of spice. We will definitely be back.
Expect top-notch service with staff who go the extra mile to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience that’ll keep you coming back!

This is my favorite restaurant in Louisville across all categories.
Atmosphere: Many restaurants play jacked up music and I can't wait to leave. As soon as I walk into Shalimar I relax. The Indian sitar accompanied music is so pleasant. Even though this is a popular restaurant I've never had to wait for seating, as seating is abundant. The restaurant is clean. The environment is just so peaceful.
Service - My family and I have eaten here about 40 times. The service has always been attentive without being over-solicitous.
Food - Consistently good every time. We have vegetarians and non-vegetarians in the family. Both are well served. Some of us are gluten free and no dairy and find abundant choices.
A celiac can eat here. The servings are huge& the staff caring. Take out is extremely well done here. Outside seating.Dog friendly. I really recommend Joy Luck.
Namnam Cafe is a great place to eat! The restaurant itself is very cozy and cute, and they have an outdoor seating area as well as indoor! With drinks, they have specials that change and you can order all kinds of flavors of bubble tea and coffee! I think their menu is pretty big for a Vietnamese restaurant (others I’ve been to only have about half of what Namnam has). I ordered a pineapple bubble tea and to eat, I got the Saigon noodles with chicken. I love how they specify that they can make this dish gluten free, because that can sometimes be a concern with noodle dishes! The food came out quickly and was fresh and hot! It was the perfect about of spice for someone who can’t handle too spicy. The pineapple bubble tea was the perfect balance between sweet and tangy - it reminded me of a pineapple whip dessert! I will be coming back to Namnam in the future!!
I appreciated the gluten-free menu! I was able to support my best friend after he was recently diagnosed with celiac's disease. Our meals were delicious AND healthy.
Staff was great and very attentive. I had the tofu teriyaki and was very pleased. My family had a14 piece assorted sushi dish and was very happy. Miso soup and salad was good too. They have gluten free soy sauce.

I’ve been pining to come here and try their lattes for a while and so glad that I finally did! We went on a Saturday and the staff was so sweet and helpful. I have celiacs so they made sure to ensure that any of their gluten free scones weren’t cross contaminated and also started me clear of drinks I couldn’t have. I ended up getting the chocolate scone and the Kiwa Signature iced latte. I love black sesame so this was a treat. My boyfriend got the Biscoff iced latte which came with a cookie! We can’t wait to come back and try more from the seasonal menu :) and I’ll be back to work remotely from this cafe soon for it’s serene atmosphere (it reminds me of an art gallery or an upscale cafe in a metro area)
The food here is very, very good. The pho is excellent, the fried rice nothing like you get from your run of the mill Chinese place. Super friendly staff, will joke with you. My waiter was ready to pour through ingredient lists to help me find gluten free options.
If you are gluten intolerant just be aware the soy sauce used contains gluten. Just request without. I actually prefer my fried rice to not have soy sauce, so I'm fine with it.

They can substitute rice noodles to make most of their ramen dishes gluten-free. The tantanmen ramen is the best I've ever had. This is also the first place I've been to in the US that has takoyaki on the menu. (Not a gf item).
