This place was great! A LOT of gluten free options including tempura sushi, tamari sauce, poke bowls, sushi, and most of the menu. (Clearly marked on the menu) Atmosphere and service were both great. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and the food was quick and delicious. Will definitely recommend!

It's been over 4 years since I've had teriyaki in a restaurant (due to a gluten intolerance). I was so happy my bf found this place, the food was EXCELLENT! Unfortunately I couldn't put my chopsticks down long enough to take a photo 🤷🏼‍♀️ Great value as well, the bowl came packed with rice, meat, PLUS fresh and perfectly cooked veggies!

From the moment I reached out to the Mustard Seed to find out what options they may have for a large-ish party (25-30), Kathryn and Chase made it easy. They were quick to respond, helpful in organizing and just plain made it simple to set up their room upstairs for our group. Any questions I had about menu options (including vegetarian and Gluten Free options) were quickly answered and easily accommodated. The room is a perfect place for a get-together. Nice space with nice natural light and easy decor for arranging tables in a way that works best for the party. It had a nice private feel but we didn’t feel like we were in a back room somewhere. Our server, Kenzi, completely nailed the ordering, groupings, drinks and meals. A complete pro. And she was a pleasure to interact with - she even helped snap a few photos. The food was great and the menu had something for everyone. The drinks and desserts were also tasty and everything was delivered timely - no waits or mix ups.
Thanks again to all involved. The staff made it slick and comfortable from the planning to the final bill when it could have been a difficult situation serving such a wide age group with such varying tastes and personalities. A perfect experience.

My family and I have enjoyed eating here, since this location opened, especially because of their gluten free options. Tonight, our experience was terrible. The gent working front counter was very nice and friendly. The female manager was the problem. She spoke horrible to the employees. She was yelling at them and berating them, so the whole restaurant could hear. When we asked about GF options, she snapped at the employee and insisted they don’t have gluten free food. I feel so bad for the hard working employees that have to work there. With a manager like that, I can’t imagine staff will stick around. Unfortunately, we will not return to this establishment.

If I could give it more stars I would! They employees are beyond nice and the food is scrumptious! I got two nigiri with real crab, my boyfriend got two tuna nigiri and it was only $14 for 4 nigiri!! They’re delicious and very fairly priced! Also as someone who is newly gluten free this place has been such a life saver, they have the most delicious spicy mayo to go along with your sushi as well :)
