The atmosphere is pretty nice. Food was good, I was told that everything was gluten free, but since I got home I’ve had hives and a stomach ache. Not sure if it’s food poisoning or gluten contamination, but might have to see a doctor. Be cautious if you have celiac.
Update: no reply from the company. I did end up in the hospital. Would not recommend.

The online menu isn't super well-labeled, but the staff are extremely knowledgable! I have Celiac Disease, and I accidentally ordered a dish (online) that could not be made gluten-free. The server, Gabby, immediately called me to let me know and suggested a really wonderful gluten-free alternative. The food was ready super quickly and the staff was very friendly.
Summertime sanctuary for breezy ambience, solo dining, and frosty BYOB experiences, often recommended as a top spot in Philly!

The food is reliably good. Curries are flavorful and appetizers are great to share. The recent menu update makes it really clear what is vegetarian and gluten free. The Cornish hen is juicy and has a balanced char. If you have room, try the mango sticky rice. I almost always share a pot of ginger tea here too. Great comfort food and something for everyone.
Happy Hour here is a win, with awesome deals and staff ready to guide you through options for a great experience!

Great Happy Hour deals. Wasn't any allergen labeling on the menu, but luckily our awesome server Olivia was GF herself and able to point a few options for me. Had the happy hour chicken satay skewers and they were great (apparently the fried rice could also be made gluten free if you ask)

The curry was delicious and very flavorful! Allergens were very clearly labeled -- lots of gluten-free options or things that can be made gluten-free upon request. Great service and friendly staff. Will definitely be stopping by again!

TLDR; make a reservation, dietary restriction friendly
Coming in from out of town, we stopped by for dinner and even moved our reservation up because we arrived early. Our party ordered the Tuna Tataki Sashimi, Tomo, Margarita and a few other options including ramen. Everything was delicious and exactly as described. The flavor profile of the rolls was a treat and we didn't even use soy or additional sauces because it was such a perfect mix of flavors! My gluten-free friend had no trouble finding options from the menu and our server was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
This place is so much bigger than you think it is! When we walked in, there were only 2 tables open which we were concerned about but they walked us around the bar to the other side and there was a whole other dining room and a full bar in addition to the sushi bar!
10/10 highly recommend - bring your appetite!
Enjoy an exceptional dining experience with top-notch service and an impressive Omakase selection that keeps guests coming back for more.

Fantastic meal. The staff was incredibly knowledge about gluten and celiacs and could go through the entire menu telling me what I could and couldn't get. Would absolutely go there again. Best sushi I have ever had.
FOR OUT OF TOWNERS…
This “restaurant” is not a brick and mortar place where you can sit down and eat. My spouse and I were visiting the city and were excited to find food that was gluten-free AND Korean. Moonbowls seemed like the perfect place. We even invited a colleague who lives in the area but had never heard of the place. We chose a location (W Girard) and took an Uber over. To our surprise, there was no restaurant located ar 1308 W Girard. There was just a warehouse that apparently acts as a hub for a number of restaurants. Two problems here…the website doesn’t specify that it is delivery-only and if Moonbowls is supposed to be a gluten-free restaurant how can it safely operate in the same kitchen where many delivery orders are prepared. The usual cross contact risk goes way up ifncare is not taken. The funniest part of all of this is that our friend went to the wrong “location,” and what she found was the same thing…a strange warehouse that wasn’t an actual restaurant.
I hate to tank this place’s ratings because it seems folks who have ordered and received food really like, but there has to be a way to let people know that there is no cute restaurant to sit and eat.
A chill spot with quick service and tasty bowls, perfect for a fast, wholesome meal on a budget.

I’m not a big review gal but I think it’s important to show love to local businesses that are absolutely crushing it! I have had great experiences during pick up and ordering delivery with Wok Works. The food is amazing! Very fresh, tasty, and well sized meals. Pricing is very fair! I have a gluten allergy and often hesitate ordering out but they make it so easy to order. So happy to have this business in the area. Keep it up! 👍
Expect generous portions of fresh sushi and poke that stand out for their quality, making it a go-to for cravings in the area.

Finally! Not only excellent sushi rolls, as well as exceptional poke, but they serve their food in portions and aren’t short-sighted. Many sushi restaurants or restaurants that have sushi or poke on their menu, whether Japanese, Chinese, or any cuisine category, have a Pick 3 or 3 Roll sushi combo, where you get to select 3 rolls. When they do so, they make the rolls smaller, because the price apart as a bargain. However, the rolls served here, are the perfect size rolls, fresh, and delicious.
I ordered delivery through Grubhub, the platform that doesn’t add exorbitant fees or play games by offering discounts and offering them with fees that are equal or more than the savings they offer you- Uber Eats. For the 3 Roll Sushi Combo I ordered a spicy tuna roll, and two rolls with both tuna and salmon- phenomenal. Rice on outside with masago and wonderful sushi inside. They only need to add more rolls to choose from for their 3 Roll Sushi Combo.
Next, I ordered their Build Your Own Poke Bowl. The portion was by far the best I’ve had in the 5 mile radius of Center City Philadelphia. I chose a base of rice, tuna as the protein, and topped it with edamame, spring mix, shredded carrots, and masago, topped with gluten-free Ginger Miso dressing. The poke bowl is fabulous. My only recommendation would be more toppings to choose from for their bowls. If they used organic vegetables as the healthy alternative to those known to have pesticides, they’d easily distinguish themselves from others in the marketplace, along with increasing gluten-free options. The gluten-free labeled options for the poke bowls are excellent. You won’t get better food service for sushi nor poke bowls. I’ll be ordering from here regularly. It’s a 5-star winner.
Delicious dim sum and they're very knowledgeable about gluten free diets! They have gluten free soy sauce and brought my gluten free dim sum dishes out separately from the normal glutenous dishes

I was very pleasantly surprised at the gluten-free options available, and very tasty! I purposefully wanted to try the gluten-free crystal shrimp dumplings to see how they would hold up during delivery. They came just way they are served in the restaurant.
I've been to Binto a times. I love the children's area. Great upscale casual atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Excellent selection of sauces in the market area. I'm gluten free. I suggest the chicken on rice. Perfectly cooked and seasoned-each time that I've gotten it.
Had some amazing braised pork shoulder with rice. My girlfriend got the chicken curry with rice because its her favorite dish and was gluten free. I got a fried egg into and it was cooked perfectly
Looooved this food truck. Creative, delicious, healthy, gluten free, and great service. Tried them at Neshaminy Creek Brewing. Hope they come back soon!
Great food, good service, nice atmosphere, always open when I'm hungry, will put whatever game we want on the TV, good drinks and mocktails, gluten free options. 5 stars!

I don't understand all the criticism: their Resy page advertises 15 courses in 60 minutes. Perhaps the timing could be more effective (wrap up original courses in 45, offer add-ons and have customers finish them and/or drinks in the spillover area or drop check) in order to turn over the space for the next seating in time. This would be a great choice for those catching a show. For those who wish to languish longer, this is not the omakase for you.
That said, their service was cordial and friendly, as the courses rolled out efficiently. The fish was incredibly fresh and well seasoned. I particularly enjoyed their garnishes, that sets them apart from other omakase I've add (roasted shishitos, truffles, fois gras). As noted on Resy, they offer dietary accommodations (another patron had a gluten free track), and they celebrated occasions (there were 2 birthdays where they sang and dropped off dessert; we were offered mochi for our anniversary). We will definitely return.
This place is hands down incredible! As someone who eats gluten free due to an intolerance I was worried about going to a restaurant that doesn’t have them labeled on a menu ahead of time. My sister called + they assured they had plenty of options. Our waiter Mackenzie was the absolute sweetest waiter + explained everything on the menu + helped me navigate my options! They even had gluten free tamari on hand + served me some ahead of time! Incredible attention to detail~
I initially ordered the Korean short rib that turned out to be marinated in soy (sauce has gluten) + I instead ordered the sushi/sashimi dinner that was FANTASTIC! Margaritas were strong + delicious. When the sushi platter had a roll that was spicy (I can’t eat spicy food either) Mackenzie was sweet + allowed me to order an alternative roll to accompany my dinner. Hands down one some of the best service I’ve ever received at a restaurant + I’m so happy they were so accommodating! Can’t wait to go back 🥰

The Golden triangle is a mixture between, Thai, Burmese, and Malaysian food. I had the Paneng tofu with added chicken. It was pretty good. This was Malaysian so it was a little different but good than what I am used it. It's a very small place and only 1 waiter.
If you have food allergies there is cross contamination and they also state that on the menu. There were dairy free options. Gluten free but if your sensitive just keep in mind that there is cross contamination. I would go again. Everyone was really nice and the food was good.

Excellent sushi both food and choices. Very fresh and quick. We truly enjoyed the fun rotating food, the iPad order and call for help choices. Gluten free and vegan choices.
Worth a trip and we’ll priced too.
I go here fairly often for the lunch buffet. A buffet is never going to be quite the quality of a single prepared meal, but it's a good price and generally a decent variety, well labeled for food allergies which is a particular benefit to me (as I have celiac).

The spring rolls were delicious, the seafood pho was good. The fishballs have flour so if you are gluten-free you’d have to request to remove them. It’s BYOB. There is a $10 fee if you bring your own bottle, though.

This place is so good, I don't even want the world to know 😅
Literally everything about this place is fantastic. My husband and I tried this place on a whim before a concert, and it has now become a must-visit when we are in town.
He always order a ramen (which have all been equally enjoyable), and the chicken tacos are the best I have ever had in my life.
On a serious note, the atmosphere is extremely cozy and welcoming. The service is exceptional (which is ridiculous because I only ever see the same two lovely people working). The menu has a clear consideration for gluten free and vegan customers. The salads are well portioned, and everything is always super fresh. Dumplings are delicate and delicious....I could continue, but why?
Support this business because if they close, I will be very sad.

Came back again 20 out of 10 speally service thank you BELLA !
Really great family owned restaurant, good food, fantastic service, very accommodating with gluten free options. We love this place and we will be back!
I went to this place the other night with my friend for her birthday. She absolutely adores Thai food and heard about this restaurant from a friend. We were able to walk right in without a reservation and get a seat by the wall. It wasn't that busy when we first got there but it picked up near the middle of our dinner. The atmosphere was great, we loved the art all over the room and the setting for the table was very nice.
Our server was Josh (Hey Josh, you rock!) and he was incredibly helpful. He recommended the Pumpkin Curry for my friend (who's vegan/gluten free) and the Southern Islam Massaman Curry for me. They were both absolutely delectable and I hate tofu stuff. He was spot on. I also had the Chicken Satay for an appetizer and it was really good, only I wish their was more peanut sauce.
I talked to Josh while my friend was out of the room about bringing a mango sorbet after dinner and he lived up to it. She was really surprised and this place is just amazing. The pricing is reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food.
As this is only my first time here, I'm only reviewing on this single time. I will be going back, hopefully with my daughter, and I expect the same excellent service and food. Check this place out.
