I've been going to Seasons of Japan for 3+ years now, and I can honestly say this is one of the best quick and easy Japanese restaurants I've ever been to. But today I went for lunch and my experience prompted me to write this review. I've recently found out I'm allergic to gluten, and today when I went in I asked them if the Hibachi sauce was made with soy sauce, which I'm allergic to. They told me it is made with soy sauce, but that the chef would be happy to make me a Hibachi chicken, rice, and broccoli bowl with no sauce. I am very appreciative of their understanding and willingness to work with my allergy. The staff is great and the food is better.

We haven't found a decent, well-priced Japanese place since Sake House on Dorchester closed down. We decided to give Mizu a try, and words cannot describe how happy we are that we did. The portions are incredible. The taste is better than any other Japanese we've had. I haven't had an avocado roll in years - they were *amazing.* (The one-year-old had a mini tantrum because we ate them all.) It even came with the little green grass paper! :D We will definitely be returning. And - they honored my gluten allergy, which I deeply appreciate.
