Thanks to Google, we found this cafe because our fav one did not open for business today. A little skeptical initially about the reviews - how can banana bread be that fantastic…..we ordered their gluten free banana cake, tea with oatmeal and a dirty chai (chai with a shot of expresso-unheard of so was keen to try it!) and oh my, mic drop moment after we dug into the banana bread (I mean seriously, how can gluten free bread of any sort tastes any good but that piece of goodness surprised me 🥸). And the chai was strangely so pleasing. I am happy with this rare find today. This may well be another one of our fav cafes from now on.

Had an amazing lunch at Billy’s. We started with some homemade bread and tzatziki dip, the bread was so fresh and you could tell straightaway it was homemade, the dip was also very refreshing and paired nicely with the bread. For mains we got the fish special which is a whole grilled snapper. The fish was so delicate and basically melted in my mouth. The seasoning was just right and gave the fish a lot of flavour. We also had the beef moussaka which was incredible. The eggplant and potatoes were so soft and the beef bolognese on top was very rich. Finally we had the chicken gyros as well, the chicken was very juicy and all the veggies were fresh. The service was amazing and attentive as well. Always checking on us to make sure we were liking each dish and Billy also came out to check on us which is lovely. They also cater to coeliacs and have plenty of gluten free options. Definitely recommend trying this amazing family restaurant if you’re in the area.

I love the food and service here so much but since discovering I have coeliac disease. I can no longer eat most of the menu. 11% of Australia follow a gluten-free diet so it would be amazing if Wild PEAR added some gluten free options :) Cant wait to see what they end up deciding one day !

Everything was flavoursome from the breads to the dips to the mains and the drinks. So fresh and delicious; the varieties of options were plenty and gluten free bread was available for the dips too. The staff were pleasant and helpful; the set up and ambiance of the venue itself was nice. Cannot fault them for anything and we’re looking forward to returning in the near future.

Waitress took great care to assist my husband’s meal choice to accommodate his need for gluten free food. His meal, Duck Rissoto was a great success & my Penne Chicken Pesto was delicious! This place is so awesome for high tea, its what they should all be like! Atmosphere is cute! Staff are lovely! And they catered for gluten free and vegan - without it being a big deal. I look forward to going again 🤗
