My wife and I had an amazing meal here. The pasta portions were huge and delicious, and the staff were attentive to her gluten and dairy intolerance. Big shout out to Jamie for taking care of us and making our experience pleasant and lively!

We went yesterday after a wine tasting. The lovely LILLY looked after us at the wine tasting and Pizza venue. The restaurant was primarily outside under large umbrellas .. casual seating , on a small hill with magnificent views across the wineries and mountains.. We ordered 4 different pizzas , and luckily those coeliacs are catered for. All were pretty fabulous and large so we got to take quite bit back to our accommodation.. The Winery buildings were lovely with very attractive gardens and water features… lovely visit

Wonderful place for our anniversary. The food was delicious and filling, perfectly cooked. They had fantastic options for coeliac and was able to prepare everything we wanted without cross contamination. The staff were great and our waiter Brent was very helpful and kind. Will definitely go back.

Had lunch here with 2 friends from overseas and we couldn’t speak more highly of the whole experience. One friend is coeliac and the other has allergies to 3 quite common ingredients. I had queried whether these could be accommodated prior to booking, and noted it on the booking. Upon arrival the restaurant came to confirm the allergies with our friends. We had expected to order from the a la carte menu thinking a degustation would be too difficult but they accommodated the entire degustation menu around their requirements. On top of the amazing service, the food was incredible, in particular the kingfish and duck courses. I highly recommend Hunters Quarter for both food and service, and a gorgeous outlook!

Honestly my best get away! Had such an amazing time with my ladies and they took so good care of us! I am dairy and gluten free and they made sure to cater for my dietary requirements. John was the best and such a lovely man, he took good care of us in the bus and just the best vibes! Will definitely recommend and come back!

Had the best time at First Creek for wine tasting and a delicious cheese board. The cheese board was delicious with so many different cheeses, crackers (including gluten free crackers for my friend) and chutney. Rhys was so friendly and we had such a lovely time, would recommend to everyone looking for their foodie fix in Hunter Valley!

It was a beautiful day with beautiful views, the customer service was friendly and welcoming the only downside was the food. We didn't enjoy it... The salad was bland, the fish needed more flavour, the octopus was under cooked, the lobster roll was not tasteful, the twice cooked potatoes were covered in the black butter which ruined the flavour of the potatoes. I did like the Gluten Free bread and wine though.

We had a delicious dinner at Twine on Saturday night. The menu has a great selection of dishes which catered to our dietary needs (gluten & dairy free), & the chef was outstanding, being flexible & accomodating. The service was friendly & warm, & the complimentary shuttle was a generous bonus, taking us safely to & from our accommodation. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and can't recommend Twine highly enough for a wonderful dining experience. It was our pleasure to dine there.

The food was phenomenal! Good sized portions and so well executed. They were also very flexible with catering for gluten free requirements. The staff who served us were really friendly and the venue was lovely - it felt very bright, well-placed and clean. We tried the blush champagne which was also a winner. I will definitely be eating here again!

Had a lovely dinner there last night. Handful of gluten free options. The guiness pot pie was really good, especially with the colder weather. My wife had bangers and mash which was gluten free. Kids had a schnitzel with chips which they enjoyed. Lost money on the pokies though! Otherwise a great hassle free place to visit in the Hunter.

Another wonderful meal at Yellow Billy but this time what made it really wonderful was the chef’s designing and printing a gluten-free, vegan menu for may daughter who has coeliac disease and lactose intolerance. Rather than be irritated by her dietary needs, they seemed genuinely happy for the chance to be creative in meeting the challenge. Friendly and helpful staff. Wide range of food choices including gluten free. My meal was amazing. I had scallops wrapped in prosciutto. Vanilla creme brulee. Sat outside on a sheltered verandah which was lovely.

We stayed at Estate Tuscany, and had breakfast at The Mill each morning. The quality of the food, and presentation was excellent. Requiring a strict gluten free diet, I was delighted to find that I could eat everything included in the Tuscan breakfast. Their homemade gluten free bread meant that I could also have toast. The toast was delicious, reminding me of crumpets. The view over the vineyards while we dined, was lovely. Thoroughly recommended!

Great cheese and crackers. Can't go to the hunter without grabbing a few goodies to bring home. Gelato and fudge available too. The black magic cheese with black garlic infused within, is sensational. Their gluten free wafer crackers are really nice too.

At only 10 minutes notice the lovely staff at Tamburlaine put together a beautiful gluten free cheese platter and wine tasting for two. We enjoyed their rosé and sparkling especially, and enjoyed learning more about the wine making process. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

Coffee is fantastic! We stayed in the area for the weekend and ended up here twice. Speedy and friendly service! The garden area at the top of the property is beautiful and sunny.. Options available for gluten and dairy free so we tried the house made soup and the acai bowl 11/10

Fantastic! We have special dietary requirements that are difficult for normal chefs to cater for - gluten free, dairy free, sugar free - but this was no problem at The Wood. Even with the set menu, we were looked after so well! Even the dessert we got was made specially for us and it was the best we have ever had. A fantastic night out and definitely worth the money.

Cautiously went to look at the icecream for my child with Coeliac disease, and the young girl serving had the disease also and was excessively helpful. Advised the safest options for us, and assured that the kitchen had been properly educated re the disease and we were so unbelievably happy to find somewhere that actually understood the requirements of 'gluten free'. Very happy and will come back every time we are in the Hunter Valley.

So hard to find a yummy gluten free pie. The gold award winning locally produced bacon cheese and brisket gluten free pie is very yummy, I can certainly see how it has won an award. Followed it up with a beautiful freshly made juice. Yum!
