They were so accommodating for me with what was already a largely gluten-free menu. I love having banquet meals and not feeling like I’m missing out on the experience, and Chiswick do the shared lunch sittings consistently well.
This intimate café charms with a quaint European feel and a sunny, quiet corner, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for those seeking a cozy community vibe. The beautiful atmosphere and incredible service make it a standout spot for gluten-free patrons.

Incredible service, beautiful atmosphere, and AMAZING coffee roasted on site! Their gluten free bread is perfectly toasted and not too dense. The team accommodated 9 people this morning, cooked our meals to absolute perfection, and made us feel so welcome. Our complete and sincerest thanks to the staff and the chef for our wonderful morning, it was very much appreciated!

Lived in the area for years! Have always loved The Light Brigade as an easy/fun local, especially the rooftop!
My husband and I have attended and even hosted a few birthdays/events at the pub.
Such a good event space on the brigade lounge level, with its own bar and bathroom on the same floor, with a small outdoor area for air. Just a great contained space, and doesn’t charge excessively to book the space (except a small $200 booking fee which comes off any food or beverage).
I’ve always loved the food but the only thing I would mention is that a friend of mine came with me for dinner one night (who is strictly celiac) and when we asked the kitchen staff about the Gluten Free pasta, they don’t do it? I asked about it (not in a rude way or anything, just pointed it out as it clearly says GF) on the menu, they said it’s not fully GF, but my friend got so awkward and embarrassed (totally fair as she gets food anxiety) so we left.
Totally surprised by this experience on her behalf as really I think it’s dangerous to advertise food is safe for certain dietary restrictions, when it’s not?
