Tony and Yukie's coffee shop and restaurant, Bazil&Co, was the first place i had breakfast at about 7 years ago in Scarborough. I never left the place, it is always my go to for food and coffee! How could i not go back to a place were you feel very welcomed, where they remember your usual order, where they are so friendly and overall, where you get the best service, the best food and the most amazing coffee!! Bazil&Co has an air conditioned inside area where you can book a table in advance or even book the whole place for private events. They also have a covered outdoor area with the best views of Scarborough beach, doggs all sizes are welcomed there. The coffee Tony and Yukie use is Segafreddo, a beautiful full bodied Italian coffee, so if you are a coffee connoisseur you are in for a treat. If you like your coffee milder or if you drink different kind of milks (soy, skim, almond or oat) they will make it to your liking. They also make all kind of cold drinks including iced coffees, smoothies and feshly squeezed juices. Tony is there bright an early, from 5:30 am you can have a coffee or breakfast! Dave the chef is also there bright and early! The food is also to die for, the cuisine has an Italian influence and you can get beautifully flavoured and generously served breakfast or lunch meals always with a smile. If you are into sweets, Tony and Yukie have a whole cabinet with cake choices and another one with biscuit choices, including plenty of Gluten Free options. If you are in for a lovely experience, i highly recommend Bazil&Co.

We had an amazing time having dinner at The Tempest celebrating our wedding day! The staff were amazing, the food was second to none and the courses were delivered with perfect timing. The atmosphere of the setting (alfresco) was lovely, with soft lighting and quiet music providing the perfect mood for the evening. The staff even went as far as setting up the tables (complete with name cards), high-top tables for mingling, and a gift table. An exemplary job was done in setting this up and eased a lot of stress in that we could focus on other things for our big day! Despite having several dinner guests with specific dietary requirements (Coeliac, Low FODMAP, vegetarian, gluten-free), The Tempest did an amazing job of catering to everyone's specific dietary needs! A massive thanks to PJ and the staff at The Tempest for all their help! They went above and beyond to provide memories that will stay with us for a very long time! We'll be back! :D

Super friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and location. Love that they use organic ingredients and always have gluten free options. Also love that it’s pet friendly and super close to home. Once you’re a local/regular you just seem to become part of the drift family. Staff are always super accomodating and helpful too.

Went to the Melbourne cup seafood buffet for $79 ppl. Was absolutely fantastic. Not sure what Calvin is on about in a post lower than mine. The food was fantastic. They had both hot and cold food and amazing desserts to select from, they even had Gluten free cheesecakes and desserts. Loved the roast chicken, the whole cooked fish and sushi was to die for! The prawns and bugs along with oysters were mouth watering. I went for 3 rounds. And 2 rounds of deserts then went and pinged out on the cheese board platter. Friendly staff great atmosphere and fun entertainment

Driving through the area we stopped into this place. Best brunch I’ve had for a while. The pancake (massive by the way), bacon, fries, coffee, smoothie and gluten free bagel were all amazing. Ingredients fresh and good quality. Sat in the winter sun with a nice cool breeze, perfect place to spend the morning. Staff were friendly and patient. Will be back.

I had my 21st here with the high tea package, and the food was amazing! It was a really special and fun day, it was great to have a chance to dress up with the gals. One of my friends was also gluten free and they accommodated her perfectly. Had an afternoon booking as well, but found the food very filling in a way I didn't quite expect for a high tea. Would definitely recommend!

Nice freindly helpful staff and relaxed environment! Would be 5 star if they had more gluten free options available on the menu but the Pad Simon Ew was an delicous GF Option so pretty happy with that!
