If you are gluten free, do not eat here. We read the good reviews and they had GFO. Wasn't too fussed about the uncomfortable chairs as the weather and live music was good. Service was slow ( not busy). Ordered GF calamari and GF steak to share. Let me just say not only was Steak ($42) overcooked and tough, it was smothered with a sickly sauce. Two weeks later I am still suffering badly......not worth the visit.
If you don't understand GF then don't serve it, there was no mention of cross contamination or any concerns with grill/ fryer etc.
A charming waterfront spot that’s perfect for events, with a welcoming vibe and great service.

We had our Christmas party there for work. It was a really nice place, right on the water. Staff were lovely. Catered for my Coeliac. Wine was lovely. Highly recommend for a function.
I went to order a gluten free item as advertised on their board only for the person serving me to say nothing is gluten free everything contains wheat I said so what’s gluten free then and he said nothing it says no where so I turned around and said well I’m sorry but it’s just there on your board it says Gluten free and Vegan available so what is that for then he said I don’t know but nothings gluten free.
So I suggest as a business to remove that as an option from your menu if you cannot cater to people who are celiac especially if your staff are going to laugh at us who are celiac and say it’s Mexican of course it has wheat in it. We lined up for 20 minutes waiting to order to get to the person serving and be laughed at and told no they don’t sell what they advertise.
Absolutely horrible to have a condition which makes me only able to eat certain foods and to be lined up where it is displayed that there are gluten free options only to find out and wasted 20 minutes in line for the staff to laugh at me and tell me no that mad mex doesn’t have gluten free options.
Vibrant spot perfect for gatherings with quick service, great $10 cocktails, and plenty of options for everyone.

We had dinner and drinks during happy our at this bar. Although it was a little confusing to find where to go to be seated for a pre booked reservation all the staff were fantastic. Lots of gluten free food options and food and drinks were made really quickly. $10 cocktails were great, we’ll definitely be back!
My family had lunch here after visiting the Lego display. They had a good range of food on the menu including gluten free and kids food. The food was very tasty and nicely cooked. The staff were friendly and polite. Nice little cafe to stop in for lunch.
A hidden gem boasting delicious, unique offerings and excellent drinks, perfect for a casual lunch or brunch with friends.

Not accomodating to Gluten free needs. I found this very inconsiderate as I asked politely for the gluten free change but was denied “because the kitchen didn’t want to make changes”. Very upset little girl right now.
This is the best buffet breakfast we've ever had!! Next comes Deer Valley Canada and Novotel Sydney Darling Harbour. Never seen such quality, quantity or variety, replenished as regularly, even a chef making omelets on demand, plus barista made coffees for no extra charge! (no other place we've been to does this) and adequate offerings for those who are Gluten Free.. white bread, a separate toaster, yummy chocolate muffins, muesli and rice flakes. Would like to see wholemeal bread at least.
Best for Variety : fresh fruit- rockmelon or canteloupe, Honeydew, Watermelon, peaches pears apricots nectarines, tinned fruit, dried fruit and nuts so you can make up your own muesli, a variety of Asian food like Dim Sims Congi, noodles etc; various cereals, a limited range of milk, skim, full cream, almond (funny they don't have soy but it's at the teas and coffees), still & sparkling water, various juices (there's even a machine where you can grind up your own!!) massive array of cakes and pastries, breads, a salad/cheese/cold meats offering plus lots more.
Get breakfast in your package!! You won't regret it!!
The waitresses were so friendly, helpful, kind and persistent in tending to your needs, especially Jennifer who welcomed us like we were at her place.
Some observations I would make are:
The Asian dishes were placed too high for the average height of the Asian people and for younger persons. They need to be lower so that they can see into the containers and serve Safely.
Another was when the chef serves you your omelette your paper order form was placed underneath touching the egg...I don't think this is particularly hygienic. Still the best ordering system weve ever seen - fresh as fresh, you don't get your omelette stolen, you get what you asked for, its delivered right to you and you don't have to wait in line for it.
Sorry I wasn't well enough to really savour the breakfasts here..
