An excellent evening at Mikis with carefully curated and beautifully presented courses. The service is fantastic, creating an enjoyable experience. Gluten intolerance was easily catered for with minor adaptations to some courses. Very delicious, would absolutely return.

We ordered via text 2 x bacon cheeseburgers, double paddy, double bacon on both, no bun for both and a half serve of chips with extra seasoning. Within a minute our order had been replied to and we were given a wait time of just over 15 minutes. This gave me sufficient time to watch a couple of reels about how awesome border collies are, put on some pants, and head into town whereupon I was greeted with a friendly smile and my completed order. This stressfree and streamlined process meant I didn't have to have any awkward conversations whilst waiting, and it was so quick it made me wonder if I could have gotten away with not putting pants on at all. When I got home the burgers were still warm and they were presented immaculately. Little paper burger wraps to hold the burger together had a super cute "Love You" written on them, and an epic amount of lettuce leaves around our meat, cheese, maple bacon and pickle stack so that we could hold them in our hands and for just one minute could pretend we were not glutards and were able to eat a burger like real people without the aide of a knife and fork. (They do have fantastical gluten free buns but we personally opt for less carbs and more protein) The chips were perfectly seasoned to my liking and were a tantalising mix of super crunchy, and soft and fluffy. Great by themselves or for using to mop up the burgers juices that had dripped down my chin, hands, elbows and onto my plate. Insanely juicy burgers! Cannot recommend Normal Van any higher. Food and wine was divine, service was lovely (particularly our main server Stephanie), and the overall ambience was gorgeous. We were also grateful for and impressed by how accomodating the chef was for our coeliac requirements. Overall, an absolutely stellar experience. Will definitely come back.

The perfect trifecta - great staff, lovely ambience and wonderful food! We have been coming here for years. With my wife having coeliac, the team go above and beyond to cater for a gluten-free diet. We’ve always felt reassured of their best efforts, never had any issues despite being very sensitive, only ever had great experiences and always walk away exceptionally satisfied (we both agree that the GF Gnocchi is the best dish on the current menu!). Thank you to the kitchen, the wait-staff and the management - you’re all our favourites and we think you’re the best Italian restaurant this side of the Adriatic Sea!

We had the most enjoyable experience here last night - a friendly welcome the waiter who we thought must me an owner by the effort he put in was amazing - he was considerate - knowledgeable and greeted everyone as a friend. So to the tastings - so many options - I had the gin which came with the garnish and tonic seperate so you got the real flavour - Very Nice My husband had the whisky which came with rainwater anda dropper and he loved his too The Food was amazing too - whisky nuts just yummy and gluten free pizza (we had the whisky one - we probably should have had it after the tasting as it was quite strong but very yummy) and the GF chocolate tart Yuuum. I felt like we had the experience of a 5 star exclusive establishment so they definitely deserve 5 stars - and the waiter was “just” a manager -5 stars to him as well

Visited Riversmith with my partner for breakfast. The atmosphere was welcoming and nice. Riversmith ran out of Acai that morning, so I opted for their smashed burger (gluten free bread) instead. My partner ordered the mushroom and avocado toast. When the $28 burger arrived, I was appalled. A small single burger on the plate, which did not look appetising at all. My appetite was completely thrown off as I felt that this was a joke for the price. The waitress did address the issue, and I explained I was extremely surprised that for $28 I was given a single and small burger, with no sides at all. They were nice enough to add some chips and a small salad, with a side a source to accomodate. Despite this, the burger was tasteless, greasy and dry (over cooked) at the same time. My partner on the other hand, enjoyed her meal. I would not recommend the smash burger from here, as it is way over priced for a single burger that was extremely unsatisfying, and a bit of a joke to customers. Customer service was good and attentive, vibe was nice, but the meal was horrid.

Beautiful! We came down randomly as a little getaway with family who had separate room which was also lovely! We had the King room and it was everything we needed, good vibe and good breakfast. I am coeliac and they made me gluten free toast to go with everything. Love location and vibe for sure

The place is small with few seating for dine in coffee, but the atmosphere was good. Coffee was smooth. The fridge was full of salads and sandwiches that are laid in a very aesthetically pleasing way. Not a huge amount of Gluten Free options but it was nice to still see a few options. The staff where very friendly!

I cant say enough about this restaurant! My family and i ate there today, and it was the best food we have ever had. The staff were so friendly, the prices were great, the portions were big, and the food was amazing! The toilets were also spotless. I recommend this restaurant to anyone, including vegetarians and gluten intolerant people.

I always love coming here to grab some things from the shop. The undercover outdoor seating area is my favourite place to sit and read a book in the sun. The cafe have some gluten free options. The coffee was ok. I did feel rushed to leave 1 hour from closing. The staff I interacted with in the shop and at the till were all lovely and friendly. The trading ours need to be updated.
