Especially during these pandemic times, it’s important to remember that behind every small business is a person (or persons) who are doing everything they can to make quality products and satisfy customers. After having the amazing vegan platter and sampling a delicious gluten-free chocolate chip cookie (meant for a party later haha), I officially cannot understand any negative review of Vegan Soul Bakery! IT IS DELICIOUS! I’ve been vegan for a very long time, and traveled all around the world, and never have I EVER tasted more flavorful and delicious vegan food! Just WOW! I don’t even really eat red beans and rice, but I ate this all within minutes! What makes it better is that this business is owned and operated by a beautiful Black woman! Thank you Shavonne for taking my order by phone, and thanks to you and Caroline for preparing a delicious meal, and for greeting me with such kindness when I came for the pickup! The few extra minutes needed to prepare all of my food fresh was worth it! Thank you, thank you! I have ordered cupcakes from Natalie twice now and have been incredibly pleased both times! I'm not a vegan, but I have friends with varying allergies/intolerances so I have looked around for goodies that they can enjoy. DWP Bakery's cupcakes are hands down the best vegan cupcakes I've ever had. I've had some vegan treats that are hard like a rock or overly sweet (not sure what they are doing to make it so sweet) but I did not have this problem here. I will certainly be ordering cupcakes again in the future! To date, I've tried the lavender lemonade, chai latte, strawberry champagne, and ethereal gluten free. All were delicious but my favorite is definitely the lavender lemonade.

I've been meaning to check them out for a bit as I live pretty close and decided to stop in for breakfast today. Oh man, I wish I'd come sooner. They have a HUGE selection of desserts and pastries AND have a robust menu for more savory foods. Crazy thing is their vegetarian and gluten-free options are awesome too (my friend is a vegetarian and got a grilled veggie breakfast sandwich and a bagel and said they were both super good.) I got the Western omelet with Provolone cheese, and they do not skimp on cheese. I got some super nice melty pulls on every bite. Can't wait to come back again and something else. 😍 Have pictures of my omelet and my friend's food as well. Edit: Update I've been back multiple times since my first time. Every time, the service is friendly and great, and the pastries are so yummy. Their chocolate covered baklava rolls are soooo good. Their baklava in general is fantastic too. Definitely recommend them to anyone. 🥰

Got cupcakes here for my husbands birthday the day of. They were great! They also had gluten free cupcakes that you could order ahead. Wish I had thought of that sooner!

MY WAITER KEVIN ROCKED!!! I have dietary restrictions and he helped me find food that I could eat, and ran to the kitchen 3 times! I was able to have a gluten free dinner and also have dessert!!! Thank you Kevin!!!
