We brought a challenge to Babycakes of creating a gluten, dairy, egg and processed sugar free cake for my wife's birthday. They experimented with a couple options and finally created a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting using local honey as the sweetener. It was delicious and a huge hit for the party. We were especially grateful because finding that kind of dessert is pretty rare around here and they were willing to expand on what they'd previously offered. So if you have something out of the norms for baked goods, they should be the first place you check out.
I love this place! My favorite is the monkey bread though I have found I have a gluten sensitivity so I had to switch to gluten free items. Today I had the yogurt parfait which is GF and was delicious 🤤 I have not had anything here that I did not like! Macarons are yummy and made fresh.

We recently visited Huron Mountain Bakery in Marquette, MI, and were thoroughly impressed. The baked goods were delicious, with a great variety to choose (3-gluten free options). However, what made our experience exceptional was the friendly and helpful service from an employee named Jayden. Jayden's recommendations and warm demeanor encouraged us to try a range of baked goods that we might not have considered otherwise. We left the bakery not only satisfied with our treats but also with a smile, thanks to the wonderful service. Highly recommend visiting and asking Jayden for their favorites!
For a person with gluten and dairy free dietary requirement, this is a great place. I could have a vegan gluten free BLT sandwich (delicious vegan bacon!) and a great soy latte. Perfect lunch break place. Nice setting and smiling people. I will for sure come back.
Best bake goods in town!!!! Everything made from scratch and great attention to details. Offers GLUTEN FREE options as well as low carb ( diabetic friendly) that are DELICIOUS!!!
