Top 5 Gluten-Free Bakeries to Delight in Hickory

Last weekend, we held my daughter a bridal shower and out of about 30 people attending, I knew at least one person requires Gluten-Free (G-F) food. I ordered a cake for everyone else and a dozen G-F cupcakes from Corner Bakery. They made chocolate cupcakes with emerald green frosting which was beautiful! In addition, they placed G-F, edible pearls on each cupcake! Needless to say, the cupcakes were a huge hit! I returned home with none. The groom's Mom made it a point to tell me how fantastic they were. She said 'I've never eaten anything G-F before, but. I could eat those every day". Thank you Corner Bakery for matching the wedding color perfectly and for such delicious cupcakes. We have more upcoming showers and this "Mom of the Bride" will definitely be back. Wish I were able to give more than 5 stars! Great bakery!

We decided to try out this Walmart location due to the one in Granite Falls never has shelves stocked. The store is not clean inside or out. Never have enough people running a cash register. If your lucky you might find a person in a yellow vest to open a register and sometimes that don't happen. All shoppers don't do self checkout. The Walmart Neighborhood store was clean outside the store and the inside was clean and smelled clean. Product was fresh the meat was pretty and red not gray. Great selections of Specialty foods "gluten free and sugar free ". Kim the lady that checked us out was nice and polite. I let her know how clean the store was how they had a great selection of food products Overall Great experience and I will be shopping at this location again.

I loved it but it would be awesome if they had some healthy options in the baked goods area! Gluten free or keto would be amazing
