If you have celiac disease or a serious gluten allergy, please be extremely cautious eating here.
This was my first visit, and unfortunately, my medical needs were completely disregarded. I clearly stated that I needed a gluten-free kolache, but I was still served one made with wheat. When I returned to let them know, the woman who took my order showed no sympathy, offered no apology, and made no effort to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation.
This kind of negligence could lead to serious health consequences, and it’s unacceptable for staff to be so careless and dismissive when it comes to dietary restrictions that involve medical conditions.
Despite the horrible service, I will say the cupcakes were actually very good. But unfortunately, that alone isn’t enough to make up for the risk they put my health in.

It's a lovely little bakery, with very friendly service, but the cookies did not live up to the hype. My friend and I ordered the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Gluten Free Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip, and Vanilla Bean Shortbread cookies. They were all horrible. The chocolate chip cookies were grainy and the taste did not represent the name of the cookies at all. The shortbread cookie was so dry, it just crumbled when I broke a piece off. When I put it in my mouth, I couldn't get water fast enough. It was like eating sawdust.

If I rated them 5 stars for each category, why the 4 star rating? Because the healthiest food in Waco doesn't offer decaf coffee. Really?? Food was excellent for gluten free, dairy free, vegan. How disappointing I have to go to Chip and Joanna's for my morning latte.

Sweetness Desserts made our wedding cakes. Our main cake was Amaretto flavored and the gluten-free was Italian cream. Both were incredibly delicious and beautiful! We found the pricing to be reasonable. Laura was friendly, gifted and incredibly professional. Our wedding was in Temple so they traveled to deliver our cake. This place is great. The drinks are always good, and the staff are always friendly. I stop by a couple times each week, even if I’m not going to the mall for anything else. For anyone with Celiac disease or a gluten allergy, the drinks and most of the toppings are gluten free. Highly recommended.
