Food prices are typically better than safeway and similar to Walmart. They have a good selection of gluten free, organics, and all natural options (obviously not compared to whole foods). They have a pharmacy that has really good rates and gas that is well priced. Clothing is expensive, as well as all non food goods, but it is an option if pressed for time. You can buy lottery tickets here, stamps, alcohol, electronics, jewelery, shoes, medicine rx, toys, garden items, meats, furniture, and most everything in between. The member points on gas are great and flexible to use at any kroger gas station or shell gas station.
When I was diagnosed with Crohn's and had to drastically change my diet the staff was so helpful, and the stock managers even ordered extra of some products that I get a lot of. So easy to find gluten free foods, the bakery and seafood departments go above and beyond and all of the staff know me now and are so friendly, not just to me but everyone! Hands down best place to shop.
No Gluten free food section. Could not find any gluten free cookies even after a couple managers told me where to look. They were not interspersed with the other cookies. Also the store-brand Allegra was $6 more expensive than the store-brand QFC version.
