Nice gluten free options, staff were knowledgeable about which items could be made coeliac safe and were thorough in avoiding cross contamination for me, thank you!
An ideal spot with stylish, upgraded rooms and a welcoming vibe, perfect for exploring Litchfield Park and enjoying local gems nearby.

An oasis of style and in the perfect location to explore Litchfield Park.
We stayed in two of the upgraded rooms and they were stunning. Totally surpassed our expectations in terms of style and amenities. The room had been refurbished with care and a brilliant eye for detail,. The best quality room we have stayed in during our two weeks in the NT, my only regret was not staying longer.
Lil Ripper cafe was excellent. I was slightly dubious about ordering the oysters but I’m glad I did. As good as I’ve had anywhere.
Also great gluten free options, including ribs, steak, barramundi and pizza bases - they were very careful with the order for the coeliac in our party and everything was well marked on the menu.
Also try to pop into the zebra stone shop on the way to the national park. A really passionate owner, with exquisite stones and jewellery for all budgets.
A cozy spot in Katherine with a unique blend of Indian and Vietnamese dishes that'll delight any palate.

Surprising find in Katherine. A mix of Indian and Vietnamese food, and some fish and chips etc - the Bun Bo Hue was our favourite. Lots of gluten free options especially on the Asian side of the menu.
A dog-friendly spot with chill vibes, but expect confusing policies that can dampen the experience, especially if you're bringing a furry friend.

The food was good and except for the pasta salad gluten free, the bar had nonalcoholic beer and wine which was great too. BUT our whole experience was ruined because Reception at the campground (which is dog friendly) told us we could bring our dog with us for dinner to this pub. However, when I politely asked the staff upon arrival where we could sit with our dog to have dinner I got the most unpleasant, unfriendly response that dogs were not allowed and we should read the sign with the rules ( in the middle of the restaurant where we were not allowed. I mentioned that reception sent us and asked if we should go away. Again a rude response and when I turned the staff member said, well you can site at the table in the far corner, we went there to be told by yet another staff member that we could not sit there. Turns out we could sit at the table and chairs outside the restaurant where the people wait for the bus.
We did sit there and got our drinks and food and ate in the sigarette smoke of the other unfavourite guests. We spoke to other people with a dog who ate at the uncovered tables close to the BBQs but we were not allowed to sit there.
This pub should have a look at the brewery in Alice Springs for example where they allow dogs in the beer garden. Just a few more dig friendly tables is not that hard to set up.
And it is even easier to be friendly and say unfortunately you can't sit under the roof but we have a couple of tables you can use, apologies for the terrible location, this is all we have.
Food is always delicious, keeps me coming back time a after time for a reliable feed and customer service. Some great gluten free options which is fantastic
Food was top quality. NZ mussels wrapped in bacon entree was superb. I had the Lamb for main and it too was delicious. Even had dessert, Banana Brulee, yum!
VERY impressed with the vast range of Gluten Free options.
It was a very busy night and yet the service was quite speedy. Well done!
Great pub to stop for lunch on the way to Litchfield Park. The wraps were delicious and they even had options for a gluten-free vego. Nice outdoor area. Friendly staff and locals.
Known for its chill vibe and outdoor seating, this spot offers a lively atmosphere perfect for starting the weekend.

My experience was very good. Darwin isn’t the most gluten free friendly town but I got a great feed at Six Tanks Brew Pub. Had the meat lovers pizza, was loaded with pulled pork and gluten free base. Staff incredible friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was great. I don’t do Karaoke but great vibe to start a Friday night.
Charming traditional Irish pub vibes with waterfront seating, good specials, and occasional live music make for a cozy and enjoyable outing.

Lovely traditional Irish pub on the inside & seating overlooking the waterfront outside. The meals were standard prices, service was friendly and food was really nice. Good dietary options for gluten-free & dairy free folk. Yummy steak & lamb shanks, vegetables were good. Great specials, too. We did go on a Thursday, so it was a bit quiet, which was pleasant. The only improvements were that the window sils by the booths overlooking outside were a bit dusty & the mash was a bit chunky in parts, but good.
Apparently, they have live music sometimes as well, which would be great. Recommend a visit.
Breakfast includes basic hot options and an upgrade for more, plus some unexpected gluten-free choices that could use a spotlight.
