As always the Keg is a sure win for dinner when in Kingston. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about food allergies like Celiac. Our sever (Artty) was on top of our needs right from the start. The food was excellent as always.
I'll start first with the atmosphere. The pool tables are layed out across the lower floor and the bar and tables are deeper in the restaurant up a few steps. There are gorgeous murals on all the walls, nice lighting and good music. Secondly the food is fantastic, I haven't ordered a meal that isn't exactly what I wanted. There are so may options and ever vegetarian/gluten free options. Thirdly the staff there are all fantastic. The food came out quick and hot, the server was friendly and approachable. The manager was kind as well. My only complaint, and it's a small one, when we ordered water we got a pretty small glass with a ton of ice. The simple solution we came to was a pitcher of water. 5/5 would come back with a larger group.

The service was absolutely great—friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. I’m giving a 4-star rating mainly because I think the menu could use a bit more variety, especially for those with dietary restrictions. It would be great to see more options that cater to different needs, like gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian or allergy-friendly choices.
That said, the food we did try was absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I’d definitely come back again and would recommend it to friends. Looking forward to seeing how the menu evolves over time!

For those with Celiac or gluten free folks... We were trying to find dining options that had different gluten free options. We read that Rose and Crown has a DEDICATED fryer for fish and chips for those of us that have celiac. The batter is excellent an the fish was great (not a big fish fan unless it is there lol) and the staff is always great. Thank you so much for something different :)

Such a great spot! Great service and the staff is all very friendly. They have really nice cocktail options if you’re not a beer drinker, so you won’t feel left out in your group! I’m also gluten free and was able to build my own gf pizza. Very yum.
Will definitely be back again.
Great waitress and service. Will try to accommodate gluten free. Quiet relaxed atmosphere where you can have a conversation. Have eaten here a few times. Recommend.

Took my daughter and her boyfriend for some bowling and was pleasantly surprised at the upgrades since we were here last. There is a large arcade section and all new everything! Lots of family fun! Service was great too! We will definitely be back and look forward to coming for some gluten free options when the kitchen is completed :) some gluten-free options :)
