Had an excellent gluten free fish and chips. GF batter and dedicated fryer produced a delectable, non-greasy batter-dipped fish and accompanying fries. Super helpful wait person too!

We had our wedding reception here and it went amazingly. Their venue coordinators are excellent and covered everything perfectly. Such an easy venue to book for events.
The sliders were delicious and they clearly marked the gluten free options for our guests.
The rear room (venue room) has great sound and lighting setups which can easily be adjusted as we liked. We will likely hire out again for future events.
Chic vibes and quick service set the stage for delicious pizzas that disappear fast, making it a must-visit for pizza lovers.

I ordered from here via Uber eats last night. I've recently been diagnosed as celiac, so I can not eat anything with gluten, so I ordered their gluten-free pizza base. When the pizza arrived, it was freezing cold, and half of the entire crust was burnt to a crisp, and the crust was inedible. The pizza was disgusting and I paid an outrageous price ($36.19) for it with no refund. I never had a bad experience with their food before being diagnosed as celiac but this was extremely disappointing and disgusting, I will not be going back.
I had the big cook-up. It was great. I was hungry and it hit the spot. My wife is gluten, dairy, nut, egg free. She ordered the coconut salad and said it was great too. Nice view as well

Despite how busy the resturant was the service was friendly and fast. The food is excellent and plenty of option for vegetarians, vegans, dairy free and/or gluten free individuals. Strongly recommend enjoying a meal here.

Roxy cinema's a very cool place to visit 🌻💚❤️
Look closely and you'll notice the carefully selected furnishings, objects & memorabilia.
Just love the tease intro to the movie too "those are real Italian leather you know" yep I dislike feet on the back of my seat too! Lol
Nice selection of cabinet food, along with fine dining. Lovely choc top ice creams, coffee, Prosecco - mmm, jaffas, & gluten free options!
Other cabinet treats are yum & it really has brightened up Miramar.
Their Gatsby themed event a few years back was fabulous! 😍 I even had a hot & sozzled LOTR star approach me when I collected my friend 😂
I've heard all their events are pretty neat 🎉🎊💃🕺
Thankyou to the clever minds & open wallets that help make the Eastern suburbs a magical place 😍🤗
Expect a fabulous atmosphere with a helpful vibe, diverse options, and a well-curated drinks menu that enhances a fun experience.

Positive - the menu offered gluten free options and appreciated being able to eat safely as I am a celiac.
Negative - for a beautiful Wellington day with women’s expo across at TSB and a cruise ship docked, the level of staffing was not right. Service was slow, with a rushed and harassed customer experience. Had to wait to be served, seated, order taken and food to be delivered. Even asking where our food was difficult because the server clearly thought everyone else waiting meant we shouldn’t query. She said she would go check but we never saw her again. For a simple order of two bowls of fried and cheesy bread and eggs on gf toast, it shouldn’t be a 30 min wait.
Negative - our food eventually came out lukewarm. So it had been cooked but sitting somewhere waiting for a server to bring out. The chips looked amazing but barely warm. My eggs on gf toast was terrible. The gf toast was as hard as a rock and no butter on it. I feel ripped off that such a simple dish was served below average and not worth the money I spent on it.
The outdoor seating area was messy with uncleared dishes and food waste on the ground. It wasn’t a welcoming place to eat and I’d be hesitant to take my family there again.
Great service, great food and large portions, clean restaurant and bathrooms. Good vegetarian and gluten free options. Busy but quick service and food. Would visit again.
Experience stunning city views while indulging in a fabulous fine dining experience, complete with an exquisite multi-course meal and attentive service.

Coeliac safe, seperate fryer and prep area. Server was coeliac and said she love it there because they get it.

We went in for Burger Wellington. Being Ceoliac i didn't have any expectation that they would offer a GF bun much less know about the importance of cross contamination.. But they did! Our server Chelsea explained that they had a dedicated fryer for the chips and could make a version of the burger completely gluten free. The bun was yummy and the meat was perfectly cooked. We moved home to NZ from the UK and miss our local pub atmosphere, they had Première league football highlights playing and our booth felt very cosy away from the Wellington winter weather. I had been here in the past and it was OK but this recent experience has me impressed. With so few options in this part of the CBD I'll be thinking of it for my next "long lunch"
Experience a cozy atmosphere with a fantastic menu, delightful wines, and impeccable service for a memorable evening.

A perfect evening from every perspective. Warm, welcoming, excellent service, interesting menu (including a specifically gluten free menu), delicious food, great wines and reasonably priced - truly a 5 star experience.
I've been back to the Juniper a number of times over the years and it remains a great place for a quiet drink and a meal. They pride themselves as a gin bar but I can't comment on that as I don't personally like gin.
The menu is limited but there should be something for everyone and they cater well for Gluten-free eaters.

Food was great! Meals are very big! We asked at the start if we needed more than 1 (had understood it was ideally a sharing menu) but meals were huge. Definitely only order 1 main per person. Not strong understanding of celiac people (our waitress wasn't atleast) which made it feel quite risky when ordering however felt fine after. Would definitely go back!

Moon Pizza Music and Beer Bar

First time here and really enjoyed it. We came I for a quick bite, which turned into pizza, beer, and a game of jenga! There was a really good selection of beers, and the music and atmosphere was good. There was a good selection of pizza too, and liked that they could all be done gluten free. However, I did think that there were limited side options, which seemed odd as there was an option to have a choice of 3 sides for a fixed rate. We enjoyed our pizza, but it did come with extra toppings which we'd asked not to have. There was also no half-and-half option for pizza. Despite this, I would be happy to go there again!
I enjoyed my gluten and dairy free tea. I've never liked macarons, but had a delicious chocolate and strawberry one.
The decor is sumptuous (photos) and the view is excellent.

Just attended a lovely 21st birthday lunch. Had amazing food even while on the keto/gluten free life! Plenty of options even with desserts on offer! Thank you to our waiting staff especially Thomas and the biggest thanks go to our chef Elfonse(excuse spelling) who saved the day when our birthday cake looked worse for wear after our trip from Lower Hutt. You rock! Looked better than we could have hoped and in the birthday boy's words "it was a beast". I think that's a good thing lol. Thanks again!

A stunning way to celebrate a friend's birthday. Food and service were amazing, and a coeliac in our group was well catered for with most things on the menu easily adapted. They have a separate gf fryer. We had the small upstairs dining room to ourselves for our group of 13. Every dish at the table was delicious.
