We attended Borsalino for a belated Christmas family lunch. The food was superb and the staff were lovely and attentive. We've already decided we'll be coming back to try more things from the menu. Probably the best Italian I've had in the Aberdeen area. Also to note, I am a coeliac and the gluten free pizza base is the best I've had in the 7 years of being diagnosed. A proper GF homemade base, which tasted delicious and just like the real thing. No issues after the meal which means no cross contamination either - a coeliac's dream! Thank you so much Borsalino, your service is exquisite!

Warmly greeted with a notice of table service, which came promptly after having a chance to review the well designed menu (while there is such a thing as a shoddy menu, this is instead a fun read and easy to scan through) Happy staff and clean atmosphere including the restrooms. Decently busy for a Saturday evening yet my food still came out quickly and was delicious, definitely recommend the Mac with Carolina Brisket and a side of pulled pork with Korean sauce! While it's still chilly outside I felt comfortable in just a tshirt inside. The price was reasonable for the good portion and great flavor. The beer selection is also solid with better variety than anywhere else I've seen in town. Lastly, they have a ton of gluten free options - though I am not sensitive, it's great to see they recognize the need. Will gladly come back and would tell any of my family this is a must try when in Aberdeen.

Made a booking for 1730 for 1.5 hours for food and drinks. The place is a ver nice atmosphere and great food. I had the salmon and prawn risotto, wife just ended up with an appetizer of nachos with cajun chicken, and my kid had a half portion of fish and chips as no actual kids menu, but will tailor a portion size for a child and charge a price for that portion which is very appreciated. My wife said the nachos were some of the best she has had, which is not what you'd expect to find in Scotland. They had lots of cheese and looked very good. The risotto was very good and was one of the several gluten free options on menu. The fish and chips for a half portion was still huge and looked very good. They also had a good drinks menu with some very nice scotches. Highly recommend if stop in Aberdeen or passing through and needing something to eat.

My 2 friends and I had an great afternoon tea this afternoon. Food was freshly made and the gluten free option was fantastic. The service was excellent. Really the best afternoon tea (and we have had a few) we have had. Thank you The City Bar and Diner.

This was my first visit and I was delighted that they served one of my favourites, scallops. I would have liked them more caramelized and a tad warmer but I enjoyed them none the less. My sea bass main was lovely and very enjoyable. I am always disappointed with the sweet menu nowadays, as they always seem to have the same, brownies, sorbets etc. The staff although young were excellent, attentive without being intrusive. I wasn't very happy with our table as we seemed to stick out parallel with the front door and I was quite cold. My companions really liked the coeliac and vegetarian menus. I would go back again, maybe.

Quality of the food and service were very good. Particularly in relation to my wife's gluten intolerance. We were there for our daughter's 30th, nice touch when they brought her a piece of cake and sang happy birthday. However I would say, for what you get, the food is overpriced.
