I had a wonderful time at the Lounge! As a coeliac it's super hard to find safe places to eat gluten free food out but the lounge was great! They had a huge and specialised gluten free menu, (I got a super tasty gf vegan burger with the crispiest fries I've ever had) and the manager handles allergy orders to make sure that everything is perfect and safe!
Set in a gorgeous converted chapel, this spot offers a quirky, atmospheric vibe with a cozy fire and great music. The friendly, accommodating staff ensure a welcoming experience, especially for those seeking extensive gluten-free and vegan options in a clean, inviting setting.

The gluten free burger I pre-ordered a week in advance was supposed to come with a potato bun but this had been substituted for a Warburton's gluten free wrap which obviously made it a lot less special. Despite pre ordering and booking a table the food took a long time to arrive yet was a bit cold. It wasn't busy. Toilets were clean and so was the seating area. Service was very minimal but pleasant. I suppose I've been a bit spoilt as I was recently in Brittany where everything is spot on. It wasn't what I ordered, didn't justify the £13.50 price tag ( menu said £12.50 so I assume I was charged extra for being part of a large party, which is a shame as it was a work event not social) £12.50 for a burger, no fries, no drink, no jug of water on the table, no breads or dips, just a burger, is steep. It wasn't what I ordered but I was only told when I queried what had arrived, which isn't good.
I should point out that although it's a work thing, we were all paying for ourselves and we don't get it back on expenses so I guess I can fume a bit about my missing potato bun, which was the reason I was looking forward to it.
It came with regular mustard already on it and raw onion, which I'd specified I didn't want as it gives me an upset tummy. I had to pick it off. No side salad, genuinely A Burger.
Sorry to be gloomy but 🥹
