The food was really good, chips were some of the best pub chips I’ve ever had, flavours were great and portions generous. The sticky toffee pudding is gluten free but you wouldn’t know and the butterscotch sauce is divine.

Absolutely love this place!
The welcome is warm, good food cooked well. So fresh and locally sourced! We had the grilled fish - how they cook it so moist is an absolute mystery to me but it really is the bees knees!
Today was a personal favourite as we were first to order and the fat was new the chef reassured us that we could have their lovely chips with our meal - usually have their new potatoes (lovely too) I'm coeliac and feel completely safe here as the staff know their food, premises and are knowledgeable and understanding of my difficulties.
So lovely to come back here 🤗
They're dog friendly which is a great pull especially with so many great walks on the doorstep.
Would thoroughly recommend in a heartbeat!

A lovely place to eat and relax with family. They have lovely seating areas inside and out. Also nicely decorated and clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. They even have a GLUTEN FREE menu! 🙂 I recommend the GF Chicken and Bacon Club Sandwich and Chips and if you're looking for a nice GF and Dairy Free treat, they have some lovely brownies too! 😋
This hotel was amazing. Beautiful building and grounds. The staff went out of there way to provide us with vegan and gluten free food and even prepared a special menu for us in the evening.
