This was a pretty neat place. My husband and I both enjoyed our food. They were able to accommodate my food sensitivities. The bee sting pancakes which are seasonal were really good. Was able to get them in gluten free. Their chicken sausage was good as well. My husband tried the pineapple upside down pancakes (not gluten free) and loved them. Looking forward to dining in again and trying other options

Ordered a gluten free Detroit pizza. It was okay 3/10 wouldn’t buy again. The bread is good it’s not about it not having gluten but the toppings are tasteless. Cheese doesn’t taste like anything, Sauce tastes store bought, pepperonis are okay. The crust tastes weird, I think it’s like burnt cheese. I really think Costco pizza is 100% better. The price is definitely not worth it.

This is definitely the BEST Filipino restaurant in Houston, probably Texas too. Their food is super tasty and doesn't look like a pile of slop like typical Filipino food does. They are also super accommodating to food allergies which I have yet to encounter another Filipino restaurant that does, especially gluten. Highly recommend the fried rice, lechon, cola adobo, wings, bistek, bbq skewers, any of their cocktails, and of course their Halo Halo!
A chill spot with a huge beer selection and a self-serve concept, perfect for tasting and enjoying a relaxed vibe on any day.

Have you been here yet? You should! I’d walked by Benny Thunders many times as I walked around the neighborhood. Finally stopped in for a beer (or two). Glad I did. Big selection of beer, including a gluten-free option. Also a decent wine selection and some hard ciders. Usually a popular spot on weekends, it was a quiet Sunday afternoon when I visited. Loved the laid back atmosphere when I was there. Also loved the self-serve concept. Allowed me to taste other beers. I’ll be back!
I love their Pastor tacos because they have a bit of a fruity-ness to them. I'm sensitive to gluten but have had no problems with their tacos on corn tortillas, nor with their refried beans or Mexican rice. Cool atmosphere and a nice staff. Parking can be a pain, but there is a lot across the street near by.
