Candace was such a nice server! She gave us plenty of recommendations and assisted with dietary requirements (gluten free). We felt super taken care of and had a really nice time.
Let me start by saying this is my third time in a row that they have totally messed up my order! I am Celiac and the first time I ordered a wrap that was supposed to be gluten free but wasn’t! I had a horrible few weeks afterward with a rash that was absolutely miserable and took forever to go away. The second time. My daughter and I ordered a gf buffalo wrap with mild sauce and got HOT which neither of us could eat. Their response was “sorry” but didn’t take it off our check. . The third time (tonight) I switched it up and ordered a gf pizza without onions. Our table of 6 received their meals and after everyone else was finished, the server brought my pizza. I took one bite and it was full of onions! She took the pizza back and although she offered to order another pizza for me, I said no. I wouldn’t expect everyone to sit there watching me eat. The owner’s son came over and asked if everything was alright and I told him ALL of it and his response was, “we took the pizza off of your bill and I will talk to “them”. “Someone concerned about local customers would have comped our whole check. I asked to talk to his dad Mike, but his son said he’d just left. Needless to say, I probably will not be back. I am not a person who EVER complains or writes bad reviews but tonight was my straw.
I'm gluten free and when I asked for a gluten free menu, the managing partner brought it to me himself and explained the demands he makes on the kitchen staff to be aware when preparing meals for people with food allergies. I was so impressed and thankful. The food was fast, hot, and prepared just right. This is one of the best Outback Steakhouses I've been to.
Nestled by a riverfront, this spot boasts a cozy wood interior and a calming campfire vibe, making it a perfect hangout for drinks and fun.

We LOVE Mountain State! My fiance is gluten free and Mountain State has the best gluten free pizza crust around. They are also super accommodating with other menu items (e.g, substituting corn chips for the pita bread that comes with some dips). All the drinks and cocktails are delicious, I especially love the margarita flight.
Parking can be hard, but we just circle until we find something or give up and go into the garage.
Wait times can get long, but we've never actually waited as long as they told us will be (which we appreciate). We'd rather be told we'll wait 45 minutes and get seated in 30 minutes, than be told the wait is 20 minutes and not get seated for 30 minutes.
Overall, can't recommend Mountain State enough!
Enjoy a unique pizza experience with a crust that's impressively similar to the real deal, plus tasty raw oysters to elevate your visit.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the gluten free pizza crust here. I have celiac and have tried so many gluten free pizzas, wishing they had the consistency and flavor of a regular crust. When our waitress served me my gluten free pizza, my husband and I were extremely nervous because it looked - and even folded! - like regular crust. I felt sure they must’ve gotten my order wrong, but they hadn’t! My grandson got a regular pizza, and there was actually a clear difference, my husband could taste the cauliflower when he tasted the crust alone, but I couldn’t. The flavor was just amazing!!! And it folds like regular pizza. There’s no grittiness, no slime from too much xantham gum. The taste and texture are absolutely perfect! Thank you for the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had!!!!!!!! I wish I lived there, so I could have it regularly!
Tucked in a charming old house, this cozy spot offers unique entrees, limited seating, and an inviting vibe perfect for a casual lunch.

Cachapa! Sweet corn cake with a meat or veg filling and it can be made gluten free! So delicious and filling. The rice was garlicy but not too garlicy. Passion fruit drink was yum too. We sat outside and enjoyed the quiet, but the inside looks neat.
Casual atmosphere with tasty beer and a fun seat-yourself vibe, perfect for sports lovers and those who enjoy a variety of flavors.

I came to Parkersburg to meet up with some family friends for dinner. I saw they had a gluten free bun so I ordered the burger with that. Our waitress was the sweetest girl and was great during our visit here. Obviously the quality of the food is not her fault lol. But the burger came out and was missing the Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, egg, and one of the sauces that were supposed to be on it. She told me the menu wasn’t updated but then brought the topping out and said they were supposed to be on there? Very sweet of her tho. I also asked when she brought the food out if it was a gluten free bun and she said she wasn’t sure cause they looked similar. I’m not sure if it was gluten free because it was wayyy to similar to my friends regular bun. I didn’t say anything cause I wasn’t sure and hate to be a pain. Most of the food was good but just be aware that if you have dietary restrictions it may not be the place for you.
Great place and open late. I was able to place my Gluten Free order and the waitress helped me finding what options are gluten free. Plus, they do have a dedicated Gluten free menu in their tablet. I would recommend for people with celiac and have gluten allergies.
*CROSS CONTAMINATION NIGHTMARE*
Please be careful if you have a gluten allergy. Staff does not seem aware of what actually contains gluten (or in some cases what gluten even is..) despite MANY items which are marked gluten free. Items marked gluten free are fried in shared fryers with gluten products and prepared on the same surfaces as gluten containing items. NOT SAFE for those with food allergies or celiac disease.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bavarian Inn and Resort. We stayed in a suite with a jacuzzi tub. The first thing I did was run the tub to ensure the jets were clean and not full of gunk - they were clean!!! Huge plus, because I've been to places where the jets spit brown and black stuff out. Blah! I thought the robes in the room were perfect. Another great touch! My hubby had a cheese and charcuterie board waiting for us in the room. It was delicious and a nice surprise! The fireplace was wonderful. The food in the restaurant was all delicious. No complaints! I was ecstatic that they had gluten free cream of crab soup. I almost jumped in glee when I saw that on the menu!!! Overall we will definitely return, however, I think when the weather is a bit warmer!
Good food and the waitress was friendly. She was knowledgeable about food allergies within their menu. Particularly and gluten. Prices were average for this type of food and portions are reasonable.
A welcoming spot with attentive service, where staff are eager to ensure a memorable dining experience for everyone.

Madison greeted us with the best smile! Very knowledgeable about by gluten concerns. She kept the shrimp coming till I had to stop her. This was my first experience here and I plan on coming back! Thank you for a special dinner.

Tried New School Cafe for the first time tonight. Had the TPBLT with gluten free bread. This is hands down one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The portion was huge and the sweet potato fries were also amazing. Service was very good and the employee answered all our questions with a smile on her face. The atmosphere was relaxed with good live music. I highly recommend going here. It was also very clean which is rare around Martinsburg.
We stayed at The Cranberry Hotel and Tropics is immediately next door to the hotel. We ordered pick up. We loved the food.
The cauliflower crust pizza was really good! Although after researching the brand of crust used I was disappointed to find out it was not keto friendly but was gluten free.
The ribeye steak was delicious; tender and cooked perfectly to our liking. We also enjoyed a few wings that were nicely done and tasty.
We live about 30 minutes from the location so a couple weeks later we decided to dine in at Tropics. Once again the food was great. The disappointment came in at the over all shabby condition of the dining room. Peeling wallpaper, worn out banquette seating, cobwebs at the ceiling level.
The kitchen is doing their share by providing good food carefully prepared. Service was also very good.
It's time for the investors to reinvest in their investment and redo the interior.
Enjoy a lively atmosphere with a menu that caters to diverse tastes, plus quick service even on bustling Saturday nights.

Really good food that is great for the gluten free people out there. All the seafood dishes can be prepared gluten free. I had the sirloin prepared as I requested. Saturday night was busy, but they had adequate staff and not a long wait for food.
We booked 3 rooms at this retro boutique motel and had a wonderful stay. Davis was perfect for a social distancing birthday get away. The staff followed all health protocols and we felt very secure. The food was outstanding and many gluten free and vegan options. Joy was a pleasure, very welcoming and nice to meet another Morgantown born and bred transplant.
We used to eat here often. I had to go gluten free and hadn't been but I looked up gluten free items, waitress was awesome at marking it and days later and I still have no issues going on. Food is great my issue was how dirty the ledge under the window beside the table was and how dirty the table was. 😳 and the fact they were sending elderly people out in the heat to wait for their table, they said a half hour wait but it was visible that there were 3 tall tables open, and 6 booths. When asked about it they said they had an issue with they system. Apparently they need a new counter lol
Enjoy a vibrant slopeside vibe with quick service, but be prepared for portion size critiques.

Friendly staff and speedy service. Great slopside atmosphere. They had a very good pizza gluten free crust ($18) but I added 6 veggies at $2.75 each ($16.50) and i asked for extra tomatoe sauce. It arrived with the barest amount of sauce and minimal veggies. It was tasty but for a small single person pizza at $35.50 my suggestion is to please add some more sauce and veggies to make it a decent meal!

Great food, great staff. We visited the Angus & Ale pop-up in Ballater, and had a great experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful, and the food was fantastic. The burgers were the best we've had in the UK, and the desserts were great too. A good range of drinks to be had in a nice venue. My partner is coeliac so we appreciated that they could make gluten free burgers and desserts too. Happy days!
We'll be going back.
A lively spot with a perfect blend of crispy bacon and perfectly cooked chicken, though it can get a bit noisy inside.

So glad this restaurant opened back up. I got the chicken club sandwich with gluten free bun and fresh cut fries. Delicious! The bacon was crisp and the chicken was cooked to perfection. Everything was great it was just a little loud inside from the way the building is shaped. Will be back.
The food was delicious and it has a very nice atmosphere. The waitress was very patient with my group's extra necessities (we had a vegetarian and a gluten free).
So I did manage to take a pic of 1 side of the menu yet got excited about those fries and boom my taste buds took over & no food pic again lol. This is the 2nd time at Paddlers and they never disappoint. Seriously the fresh cut fries are the bomb 🔥. I had the Italian salad last time and everything was fresh and so big!
This afternoon I tried the Wa'a burger. It has a Hawaii spin on it with a sauce I could drink! Yum! Pineapple with Hawaiin sauce. The burger is a fresh patty, not frozen or pre-pattied. The Monray sauce I wanted to try and ordered a side. It's a gooey yummy melted cheese sauce I literally ate with a fork then decided to dip my fries in it. Yep, that good-if you love cheese 🧀 . I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free. I order with out a bun & had no reaction (Gluten free buddies totally know what this means 😉). Paddlers also has a live band this Saturday & open on weekends until 2am. My bestie had the Paddler burger both trips there, loves it. Amazing food! Will go back! ⭐

I ordered for pick up last night. The staff was so pleasant and made sure it was all packed and correct. It was so nice and clean inside and we can’t wait to return so we can eat in. The wings were the best I have ever had and I could get gluten free. My husband had the grilled chicken salad and loved it. The loaded hash browns were to die for. I’m so glad we have a new place to go and enjoy. Thank you for pleasant service and delicious food.

Had a great time here! We arrived right when they opened and were seated in a nice booth in the window. They had great local alcoholic ciders that my partner and I tried. The gluten free breakfast I had was good.
