Delicious celiac safe establishment with world class baked goods and crepes. Their almond and chocolate croissants are fantastic! The crepes were devine. The owners were present, extremely friendly and confirmed their food was celiac safe. I was diagnosed with celiac 8 months ago. In my prior life, an almond croissant with morning coffee was a favorite. This was my first gluten free croissant and it was the best one I’ve ever had…better than I remember. Please visit this cafe and enjoy everything on their menu. Bon appetite!
A must-visit for pastry lovers, this spot serves the world's best flaky croissants and treats that redefine gluten-free delight!

The service is lousy, and there is a big lack of hygiene. Gluten-free pastries are not bad but not great either.
If you're looking for a quick gluten-free pastry this is good. Otherwise it's not worth it.
A great spot with an impressive selection of homemade pastries that even non-intolerant folks rave about—plus, delivery across Quebec!

We were at a nearby hotel and found this amazing spot. Nearly everything on the menu is/can be gluten free. We tried the arancini and the grilled cheese and fries. Everything was delicious. We sat at the bar and had excellent and attentive service. Don't pass up this gem.

Fantastic. I was in Montreal for 2 days and my group ended up going 3 times. Burgers are delicious, the milkshake is one of the best I've ever had, and according to my celiac friend the gluten free bun is the best he's ever had. Will definitely be stopping back next time I'm in town
A must-visit gem with a mouthwatering scent of baked goods, offering healthy treats that are both delicious and guilt-free!

I stopped at this place because I find the idea of offering gluten-free, sugar-free and low-carbohydrate products excellent! A good for all and a comfort for us diabetics. I pushed the door and as soon as I entered... I almost came across an unmarked dangerous step. Then not a hello, I heard that I was taken care of after having made a selection of products. Two people who entered after me were served before me. I waited and when I asked to be taken care of I was told: ''You have to calm down, it's nice outside''. Following this comment, I put the items down and left your store. Sad, I wouldn't come back... and to all those with a sweet tooth looking for pleasure, I don't recommend this shop.
This charming spot offers a cozy vibe and a diverse menu with plenty of options, making it a favorite for brunch lovers in the area.

One of the best brunch places in Montreal! Accessible prices, gluten-free version available without problem for celiacs, and excellent food with copious dishes!! Special mention for the scrambled tofu, the Greek, the full vegetables, the asparagus Benedictines and the red juice that I take every time! In short, a treat, a warm and friendly atmosphere. Thanks to chef Saïd for delighting us!
Experience deliciously stuffed arepas and a cozy patio vibe that’ll leave you stuffed and satisfied in a lively atmosphere.

Great gluten free options!
Service can be slow, even when it's empty. But that's because everything is made fresh to order.
Very filling portions for a fair price.
A cozy spot in vibrant Wellington, perfect for brunch with inventive dishes and a calm atmosphere for a delightful dining experience.

So glad this place exists!
The food is phenomenal and everything is vegan. They also have many gluten free options that aren't marked on the menu (you can ask when you call or ask a waiter.tress on site).
Chic spot with beautifully presented plant-based dishes, unique seasonal specials, and a vibrant atmosphere perfect for brunch and cocktails.

Enjoyed delicious breakfasts here a couple of times and decided to try their lunches today. What an amazing surprise to discover their range of gluten-free options. Not just, remove stuff from your plate, but gluten-free burger buns (+$4) or lettuce wrap (+$2), gluten free pizza crust (10 in) and pasta (+$5), as well as a server who was knowledgeable enough to let us know that the BBQ sauce on the ribs had gluten and offer to serve it without. Also, to top it off, there was a gf dessert option!!!! So nice to be able to eat out with my family again and actually have a choice!

I’ve been veg most of my life and rarely eat out but I’ve heard so much about Fal St J for years and always wanted to go. I live close by so finally went. I have mixed reviews.
The gluten free falafel pita was THE BEST we ever had. They had amazing selections of veg sides as well. We got a few and they were all good.
The blonde lady with the nice smile was friendly and patient with all our questions as well.
The downside:
The place is VERY small, cluttered, dirty and there’s nowhere to park. It’s surprising that a place so popular wouldn’t find a larger and cleaner location. So small inside that we felt rushed to make choices because there was so many people inside a small area.
All their ingredients list are in French. No ingredient lists on their web sites either
You cannot see the prices they are entering into their register and they refused to give a paper receipt. Not legal but the place was so packed my friend wasn’t going to stand there and argue. It was $90 for 2 sandwiches and some sides? Didn’t make sense but I waited outside while my friend paid or else I would have demanded by receipt.
I’m glad I finally tried it out, but we won’t go back.
A hidden gem in the basement, this spot is perfect for a busy lunch, especially if you're craving a variety of unique healthy options.

The employees were friendly, but
unfortunately do not speak French at all.
Then, lunches are very expensive to have chips and bread…
Lots of gluten-free options though! If you are celiac, I do not recommend.

The place is nice with a patio in the back, just a shame it closes early at 3pm. Staff is very friendly, you can buy a few organic cereals/jams/beers/chocolate and gifts. They have a gluten-free brownie and the matcha latte is great but their filtered coffee is quite light/watered down so better to get an allongé.

Very cute little neighborhood café-bakery. Delicious gluten-free and dairy-free brownie, ask for it if not at the counter, it is sometimes kept in the fridge. Perfect blend of flavors with the vegetable milk latte of your taste. Very friendly staff too. ✨
This is a great natural food store which has all the flours, nuts, oils and anything you need to make soap, baked goods and anything in between. Great for gluten free flours. Their cafe and bakery is also really nice, but not a lot of seating

Real Montreal bagels, which are the best according to my family (I can't eat gluten). Beware the Google map directions take you to the alley behind the Plateau location.
Simply delicious!! Your mother's sandwiches are homemade, with fresh, quality ingredients at a very affordable price! Notice to veggie and gluten-free fans, there is a very good sandwich!! I had a nice welcome from the owner himself who really takes great care of these customers. Whether to eat your lunch there, or to enjoy a pastry with a good coffee, you will feel at home with a warm decor and a friendly atmosphere. I will go back to try the other sandwiches
I loved my experience at this subway 😀 I am celiac (gluten allergy) and the owner is very on the lookout for allergies, plus she is very friendly. I recommend a quick stop at this restaurant.
Love this place! Great selection of cheese, and the staff is always super helpful and friendly. They also sell many kinds of breads to go with your cheeses from Arhoma bakery, which are delicious (especially the cranberry walnut and caramelized onion breads). Lovely pastries too (even some gluten free and vegan options, if I recall correctly)! Definitely recommend.
A beloved spot for over 20 years, this place offers quick service and a welcoming vibe, making every visit a must when in Montreal.
