We travel to Southern California for a family trip. Both my daughter and I are Celiac and need gluten-free. We looked all over for good gluten-free chicken fingers and starbird came up.
We drove 15 minutes to come here but the food was worth the drive. The chicken fingers are amazing. The french fries are also gluten-free and fantastic. I highly recommend the gluten-free chicken nuggets. Plump, juicy, awesome crunchy exterior. Made fresh to order. I highly recommend. The staff was super helpful, courteous - excellent friendly customer service.
Pedones has amazing pizza and hello GLUTEN FREE options. They have the best tasting gluten free pizza around.
I like the outdoor setup because you can watch some sports if that is your thing. I personally like hockey and soccer. Mostly I confess for the guys but whatever 🤪
The staff is friendly and the place is clean.
If you haven't tried pedones you should it is locally owned and not a chain and they have a lot more than pizza to choose from. There is a metered parking lot in the rear and one larger parking garage across the street. Beach parking isn't always easy bit this helps or just UBER or Lyft.

The coffee is excellent! However, almost all of the muffins and pastries are gluten free or fat free, which is only fun for the locals. The service is very good.
