I am really grateful for Mellow’s diverse menu including gluten free options. For the first time we had guests visiting and one of them had a gluten allergy - it’s harder than you think to try and find food to fit everyone’s needs.
These are the best sandwiches. They take extra precautions to avoid contaminating my food. I have celiac disease and have to have gluten free. Chris the one who made my sandwich took extra care to check out all ingredients to make sure there was no risk. If you want a great wrap/pressed sandwich. Visit here and ask for Chris.

Great little coffee shop in the heart of downtown Augusta. They graciously substituted their gluten-free roll for my bread on the toast I ordered, and it made it almost like an English muffin. The coffee was great, and I loved the googlie eyes on the coffee dispenser.
Maybe its because I have become a regular, but really how hard is it to become a regular. Be nice, be polite, genuinely appreciate the work and services being performed, tip well, say thank you. But seriously, ive been to dozens of locations and I get pretty much the same treatment. After a couple visits they know what sandwich I am ordering and how I like it. Usually a wrap for me, and its loaded with goodness. The gluten free bread is also a nice touch for those who are gluten intolerant. The really clean everything and even use a separate slicer to prepare the sandwich. its actually impressive watching them do the gluten free thing since its not something a lot of people order. Even if its only a few sandwiches, they treat gluten free option with the utmost professionalism. superb sub place and delicious , more natural meats.

I received a warm welcome as I walked through the door that carried through the whole experience. This place is brand new and very clean. Staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my gluten free sandwich was free of cross contamination. The operations / marketing manager (may have that title completely wrong) was so kind to me and his staff. Wish I would’ve asked his name. Very grateful for all that he’s doing for the community with this business.
