I felt comfortable coming to BJs because they advertise items that are specifically gluten sensitive on their menu. I ordered a salad off of the “gluten sensitive” menu. It came with croutons on it (gluten). I let our waiter know I had celiac disease, which is a severe allergy to gluten, and asked if they could remake it without croutons. 5 minutes later they proceeded to bring out what was clearly the same salad because there were croutons still in it and breadcrumbs all over where they had picked off the croutons. Not cool. I hate being a jerk but allergies are a serious thing. If you can’t accommodate them, please don’t advertise that you do. People can get very sick from this.

I love this location of jersey mikes! The manager Michael H (GM 1082) was awesome! He’s so sweet and accommodating! Me and my family have celiac and are gluten free and they always make sure they don’t cross contaminate. I always prefer this location!

Store manager was ridiculously rude and unprofessional. He was talking to another employee when me and my sister arrived in the store. They did not stop talking and we were waiting for at least three minutes before he asked if he could take our order. I am gluten-free and they did not change over anything,so they use the same knife and same everything to make my sub. He was also cleaning the tub of mayonnaise and wiping the old crusty mayonnaise back into the fresh that they use on subs.

We would like to send a big shout out to Verace's Pizzas. We work for the public schools and the PTO purchased lunch for our entire staff. The team at Verace's Pizza were very helpful, accommodating, and honest. We ordered 25 large pizzas, gluten free pizzas, and a salad - our food was delivered hot and on time! I’ve been coming to Joe’s since it was opened. The staff is very friendly and professional. When I was forced to become gluten free, I was upset. Dawn made sure that I knew what they could make for me that was safe. The staff now recognize me and know not to give me croutons on my salad. Kim and Dawn are the best.
