The staff are lovely and are flexible with their catering to the customers having a range of options including catering to Gluten-free, Vegan, Vegetarian and much more. The facility is family friendly with a kids playroom and offers a bathroom as well, there is also a nice outdoor area to enjoy your food which includes a pet friendly area. A great cafe to bring your family and friends to!

Montania totally lived up to our expectations of a restaurant which provided delicious food and great service. Waiting staff were attentive and made me feel very special when a surprise cake appeared. Meals were all presented with in a highly appealing manner and all were full of subtle, delicious tastes. I loved the way the wait staff thought of easy solutions and adaptations to the menu to cater for my dietary needs (gluten free and vegetarian). Did I also mention the serving sizes were very generous? Would definitely recommend a visit.

Good food, amazing staff. There are plenty of options of vegetarian food. Some are gluten-free, and some are gluten as well as egg free options also available. Will visit again and try other options also.

Delicious brunch, had really good gluten free bread and appreciated the wait staff asked if celiac or simply gluten free. Loved the Asian spin on flavours and decent coffee. Many gluten free and vegan options. My friend was obsessed with the hollandaise sauce 😍

Best addition to ferntree gully in a long time! Get my lunch from here regularly, they make me a special gluten free sandwich on request and they are THE BEST!!!! Kat and Dec are a joy to see when you walk in this pretty store!! Keep it up guys!!

I asked the staff if their chips is gluten free coz my baby is anaphylaxis to gluten. The staff printed a copy of their menu with its allergens etc. for my reference. They even drained their filter and cooked a new set of chips to make it more safe. I really appreciate how they accommodate my query. Thank you

We visited Forage, Mountain Gate for the second time yesterday and it was just as good as the first time. A beautifully decorated cafe with friendly and efficient staff with acan do attitude and delicious food and coffee. I had the French Toast which was outstanding, with plenty of fruit and cream and when I asked for maple syrup in place of salty caramel sauce it was willingly given and the container had plenty in it to pour over as I wished. One daughter requested the Smashed avo be replaced with mushrooms due to an allergy and was delighted with the result and other daughter, who forgot to order gluten free bread in her order was thrilled with the prompt response and changed meal. I really recommend this cafe which is new to our area.

They have some of the most fancy and delicious cakes I have ever tasted. They have many savoury meals and snacks. There are vegetarian options and gluten- free options available.
