Expect a mix of delicious dishes in a cozy spot, though the decor could use a modern update to match the tasty offerings.

Absolutely loved the food here. Visited yesterday and ordered the trio of dips! Omg, they were beyond amazing. So delicious and tasty. My friend ordered the Spanish eggs which he really enjoyed. The gluten free pear cake at the end was the absolute most beautiful and tasty cake I have ever eaten! My only low vote on Errol’s is the atmosphere. Could do with a good freshen up and some more modern touch’s in the restaurant itself! Very dated inside. But food was lovely and staff were friendly and nice too!
Expect a lively vibe with a diverse menu featuring unique bun options and flavorful sides that'll keep you craving more.

Visited this venue on a Friday late night for dining, most other restaurants in errol st had already shut. Plenty of parking around.
they offer different bread options, seeded bun, brioche bun, beetroot bun, wrap, pita bun, lettuce bun and gluten free bun. Their sides include curly chips, sweet potato chips, onion rings, loaded fries, chicken nuggets, arancini balls, mozzarella sticks, spring rolls, hash browns, and salad.
the burgers were on the pricey side, and tasted great.

Auction is a little hidden gem in North Melbourne, the flavours of the French toast was amazing and for the coeliac the breakfast board was definitely on point 😀
Dietary requirement was definitely not a problem and the coffee paired very very well!!
An absolute must for all to enjoy

Great little set-up with a straightforward menu and ordering, brilliant coffee, and service with a smile! I love the gluten free coconut pandan brownies and get one with my coffee every time. Hidden gem on the edge of the city.
The classic Melbourne neighbourhood cafe - good coffee, a nice range of teas and some superb choices for breakfast, all with the option of tables inside, a bar in the window and a lovely little courtyard out back.
Staff were great, quickly clearing tables, not afraid to be honest with people about their chances of a table when the cafe was full, and offering to move us from the bar to the courtyard when a table became free after we ordered.
Coffee was good, and fast, and the food choices were excellent - there was a good range of gluten-free options and a superb French toast for those who are not big on eggs.
Superb service. Great coffee. Fine food. Large menu. Good for gluten free.
Observed most customers to be regulars. Paid parking on street. Lovely outside seating.
Still a leader after 2+ decades.
